SOMETHING UNEXPECTED

Lucy's POV

The week in the woods was very good for Tim and me. We talked a lot and I enjoyed every minute with him.

We had been back for two weeks and kept our relationship a secret. It was difficult but we always managed to get him to get in or out of my apartment at night and in the morning without Celina seeing him.
Tim went back to work last week for the first time since his injuries and he was happy to be back on patrol,
because of the pregnancy I was transferred to office duty.
My baby bump was starting to show a little more but I was still able to hide it well with larger clothes. Next week we would be able to find out the sexes.

It was the weekend and Celina wanted to go to a few parties with Aaron at the weekend and then spend the night at his house.
So Tim would be able to spend the weekend at my place without any problems like Celina could see him.
Tim and I were still laying in bed in the morning, enjoying our time together.

Suddenly there was a knock on my bedroom door. "Lucy? Is everything all right with you?" I heard Celina ask. 
Shit, what was she doing here? She wanted to sleep at Aaron's.
Tim had a hard time stifling a laugh as he came up from under the duvet.
He had always predicted that Celina would catch us one day because I was too loud.
I covered his mouth before Celina could hear him lauging.
"Yes, everything is all right Celina, I just bumped my knee on the edge of the bed. Why are you home already? I thought you slept at Aaron's."
"I did, but I just wanted to get a different outfit for the club tonight."
"Okay then, see you on Monday, have fun." I said and waited until I heard the front door slam shut ten minutes later before I took my hand from Tim's mouth and he burst out laughing.
"That was really close" I said but then I had to laugh too.

We spent the weekend looking for a suitable house. We had already applied for several houses last week but the house we wanted the most had many requests.

On Sunday evening we got the call that we would get our favorite house that we had applied.

Tim and I both fell in love with this house as soon as we saw it. It had four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It had a large kitchen with a beautiful dining room area and the living room was just gorgeous with a fireplace and large windows where you had a perfect view in the garden. The garden was huge and there was a big sturdy tree where Tim immediately had the idea to build a tree house for our children. The babies could play perfectly in this garden as soon as they were big enough. The garden had a small pool and a perfect corner for Tim's wish for an outside bar and barbecue lounge. 
It was the perfect house for our future family.

On Monday, after our appointment with the gynecologist, we would drive to the house and be handed the keys.

I could hardly wait for Monday and couldn't sleep that night.
I got up at 4 a.m. and started packing a few things for the move as the house was actually ready to move into straight away and freshly renovated.
Tim had slept at his place tonight.

He picked me up around 9am and we drove to my gynecologist. She was very pleased with how the babies were developing.

She gave us an envelope with the genders inside.
We were going to have a gender reveal party to know if we would get little girls or boys.
Tim was convinced it was going to be girls while I was sure there were two little boys growing inside me.
After the appointment, we drove to the house.

We were handed the keys and were now officially homeowners.

In the evening, Tamara came to my and Celina's place. We wanted that the two of them would plan and organize our Gender Reveal Party where we would find out together with the rest of our friends and family what we would get.

Actually, Tim wanted to be there when I gave Celina and Tamara the envelope, but after we got the keys to the new house, he said that he had completely forgotten that he had another appointment and was supposed to meet Angela afterwards. So I was going to ask them without Tim by my side.

Celina, Tamara and I were sitting in the living room when I took the envelope out of my bag.
"Tim and I had thought about having a gender reveal party to get to know with  all of our loved ones what we will be getting. We thought about it for a while and agreed that we would like you both to plan the party for us. The party should take place in two weeks in the garden of our new house. Would you like to do this party for us?"
"Yes, of course we would like to throw this special party for you" they both said almost simultaneously and hugged me.
I returned the hug and gave Tamara the envelope.
"Tim and I don't want to know what it's going to be beforehand so please don't hint anything."

They both nodded and opened the envelope. "Oh Boy..." said Tamara and looked at me but Celina interrupted her immediately "You mean Oh Girl..." "No I think I mean Oh Boy although maybe you're right Celina and I do mean Oh Girl..."
They both looked at me and then at my little baby bump.
"Girls, that's exactly what I meant, no innuendo.Otherwise I can't bear to wait these two weeks if you will always tease me with the genders."
