Welcome Back to Gravity Falls (Dipper Pines X Reader)

The sun hit my eyelids, forcing me to shut them tighter and turn. I stretched, feeling a hand land on my back and pull me closer. I opened my eyes, surprised to find Dip- I mean, Mason, sat up, reading a book with me cuddled up next to him. He looked down to meet my eyes and smiled, putting his book down.

"Well, good morning, Sleepyhead," He said. I groaned.

"Mason, what time is it?" I asked. His eyes widened, like he'd expected me to forget what he said last night. He smiled softly and looked at his phone.

"It's like 10," He said. I buried my face in his chest.

"I did NOT want to sleep that long," I said, slightly annoyed. He chuckled lightly and rubbed my back.

"I'm sorry, I would've woken you up earlier if I knew," He said.

"No, it's okay," I said, and stretched before constricting back into the position I was in. I was keeping it cool, 110% but my heart was pounding. Then I noticed something when I placed my hand on Mason's chest. His heart was racing? Was there a possibility that he feels the same way?

"Apparently, you needed it," He teased. I looked at him, confused. "Well, you slept in, which is something I don't think I've ever heard of you doing. That and I don't think even Mabel squealing could wake you up." I laughed and we continued to lay there in comfortable silence. I heard the front door open to the shack.

"Hey, Dudes! I brought Donuts! Come get some, I saved a couple for you guys. For real this time!" Soos yelled to us.

"Aw, Hell Yeah! Donuts!" Mabel shouted as we heard her footsteps downstairs. I looked at Mason and shrugged.

"I'm down for donuts," I said.

"Come on. Let's go get some," He said, offering his hand to me. I smiled and took it, standing up. We walked downstairs.

"Good morning, Soos," I said.

"Good morning, Dude," He beamed. "Have a donut." He pushed the box closer to Mason and I. Mabel looked at me, the widest grin on her face. My eyes darted to Mason then back to her. She definitely saw us.

"So~" She sang. Fuck. "How'd you two sleep last night?" She asked, coyly. My face turned red and I giggled. "I TOTALLY SAW YOU AND DIPPER CUDDLED UP THIS MORNING!"

I looked at Mason, who was bright red and laughing nervously. I decided to be truthful.

"I'll be honest, it's the best sleep I've gotten in a while," I said, sitting down. Mabel beamed at me and Mason took a seat beside me. Mabel started giggling like a madwoman.

"Mabel, Stop. You're being weird," Mason said, quietly.

"Anyway Dudes. So I was thinking, I throw you guys a welcome back party!" Soos exclaimed.

"Called it!" Mabel yelled, high-fiving me.

"Soooooo, Dice or no dice?" Soos asked.

"Mabel's ALWAYS down for a party!" She said, looking at Mason.

"Fuck it, why not?" Mason said, shrugging.

"Yes! Y/N, You-" I cut Soos off, standing up.

"On it!" I called walking back to my room. I grabbed a pair of ripped jean shorts and an oversized mushroom tshirt. I tucked the shirt in the front, leaving it untucked in the back. I walked into the bathroom and brushed my hair, putting it in two braids to keep it out of my face. I made my way back downstairs, grabbing my keys while I slipped on my converse. "I'll be back!"

I shut the shack door behind me and walked to my car, stepping inside it. I made my way to Wendy's house. I knocked on the front door and she answered.

"Y/N! Hey!" She said, pulling me in for a hug. I hugged her back. "How've you been man?"
