✨Third Person's POV✨
Easton Magic Academy. A historic and prestigious school that has produced numerous pillars of the magic realm.
Of course, it's entrance examination is notoriously difficult. And the one in charge of running this exam... And tasked with guiding the next generation of mages is none other than the supreme Magus Cum Laude... (💀)
Claude Lucci.
'Let's see here... Who do we have among this year's applicants? We have a Scion of the Nobility, a son of the under-secretary of the Bureau of Magic...' The Supreme Magus... Known as Claude Lucci... Glanced at every student participating in the entrance exam. 'Hmph. As expected only the biggest movers and shakers of society are present.'
'Ambitious youths such as themselves are proper candidates for a school as prestigious as ours. Polishing their wands and reviewing their spell books. That's the level of devotion I like to-' He was interrupted by his inner monologue by the sound iron.
Hmph. Hmph. Hmph. Hmph. Hmph.
And there he is... Mash Burnedead... Lifting weights, alongside Lunch, who was just standing by eating cream puffs while watching her beloved friend working out.
'It feels like we're being watched.' She glanced at the blonde man standing in the building in front of her.
"Creep." She muttered under her breath. Then Mash began doing the invisible chair on one leg while also reading a fitness book.
'Jeez... What a show off.' Lunox smiled but it faltered when she was unknowingly placed on the lap of her friend.
She let out a surprised noise then glared at the boy. "Give me a warning before you do that." She warned, firmly gripping his uniform.
"Consuming protein within 45 minutes of training to replenish your body's supply is basic knowledge..." He read to Lunox.
"Oh really...?" At this point, she was half listening to whatever he was saying, her gaze was focused on the man staring at them.
'Seriously. This guy is a weirdo. Stalking kids.'"Are you certain this will work?" A poorly hidden Regro Burnedead asked.
"You gotta trust me. I've got it all planned out. I made that mark indistinguishable from a real mark." Another poorly hidden man, also known as Brad, responded to the old man. "Just sit back and enjoy the ride."
"You know... We can see you both." Lunox walked up to them. "Your disguises are terrible." She frowned.
"I wonder what the exam is like." Mash said, eating a cream puff. "Not that it matters. I'll pass no matter what they throw at me."
"Please don't eat with your mouth full." She scolded.
"Greetings, Examinees!" A voice boomed.
A green fire appeared out of nowhere and a man came from it.
"I'll be overseeing this year's entrance examination. My name is Claude Lucci. The pleasure's all mine."
"Claude Lucci?!"
"He's ranked seventh in this year's top up-and-coming mages!"
"Despite his youth, he's said to have mastered countless advanced spells!"
"That's him?!"
'Their awe respect... It feels so good! Yes praise me... Worship me!" Yep... He's a narcissist.
'His face shows the signs of a narcissist.' Lunox grimaced.
"You must think you're hot stuff, appearing out of a firestorm and all." Mash stoically said. Sticking out like a sore thumb among the other students.
