29. Hello again

It was all so... damn mysterious.

I instinctively picked up my phone and scrolled down to her contact and clicked on it. The conversation board was completely empty. I was frustrated. I didn't know a damn thing about them... and it had been weighing on my mind because I couldn't help but feel that their presence here signified that something was about to happen. And that something, it didn't give me a good feeling.

And before I knew it, I was the one typing a message to them.

---Normal POV---

"Huh? Look Doshi! A message from your crush!"

"Wha- let me see!"

She floated out of my body and hovered over my phone before hastily turning away.

"I-I mean... I don't care! Stupid!"

I chuckled and opened the notification to read his message.

Mitama (Doshi's crush)

Can we meet?

"Oh yeah... I did say we should talk another time. There has been so much going on with school and all that I kinda forgot..." I scratched my neck. The boy was probably getting pretty impatient.

"We have time today!" Doshi exclaimed, before going back on her words. "No, wait, no! You gotta do homework today!"

"You are contradicting yourself. Besides, I don't even have homework today." I smirked slightly.

"STUPID!"

"Let's give him the time of day, Doshi. I wanna see you two interact."

"Wha-"

Before she could continue arguing, I typed back a reply.

Yeah, Im free

"NOOOOO! I DON'T WANNA SEE HIIIIIIIM!!!" Doshi whined.

"Stop lying to yourself. You know I can feel how happy you are, right?"

"Ughhh... I'm not lying..."

How bout in half an hour in the park from last time?

Sounds good. The sprit will be there too, right? Doshi?

"Aww, he's asking for you!" I teased, and Doshi blew up, throwing curses at me and stomping on the air she was floating on.
