Day 3: Suzune (continued)

"Oh. That's not so bad then." And so, I headed back up to the lodge.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------As I was heading back to the lodge, I realized that I didn't know where Nagisa's room was. Come to think of it, I hadn't even seen Nagisa at the lodge past dinner time, so maybe her room wasn't even at the lodge? In the end, I decided to just talk to Kasumi first and hope that she knew where Nagisa stayed.

"Hello, is Kasumi there?" I knocked on the door to Kasumi's room and called our for her.

After a while, the door opened and Kasumi stepped through. From behind the door, I could hear rather loud music playing inside the room. Oddly enough, I couldn't hear that music from outside before she opened the door, which must mean that our rooms are soundproofed pretty well. Thank goodness for that, otherwise I'd be able to hear it from my room next door.

"Suzune? What're you doing here?" she said in a raised voice.

"I just came to ask about what modifications you want on the outfits," I yelled over the music

From inside the room, Hana's voice shouted out over the music. "Kasumi! Is someone here?"

"It's just Suzune!"

"Who?"

"Suzune!" Kasumi repeated in an even louder voice.

"Oh! Tell her she can come in if she wants!"

"I'm good, thanks," I said quickly, addressing Kasumi.

"She said she's good!" Kasumi shouted back into the room.

"What?"

"She said she's—ugh, never mind." Kasumi shut the door behind her and the music disappeared.

"Was that Hana?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah, she's tweaking the song for her group a little before the performance."

"I see."

"Sorry, what did you want to talk about again?"

After I had received the specifications from Kasumi, I asked her one more question before leaving. "Do you know where Nagisa's room is?"

"You don't know either? I've been wondering about that. Doesn't seem like anyone knows where she stays. Weird huh?"

"Hmm...well if you don't know then I'll just have to look around until I can find it."

"Oh wait, I think I've seen her head out to a small nearby building after dinner. Maybe it's in there?"

"Alright, I'll take a look over there. Thanks for the heads up."

After exiting the lodge, I looked around for the building Kasumi had mentioned earlier. It was already rather late and the sun had almost completely set. Though there were lights illuminating the main path leading down the cliff, the rest of the area was covered in darkness. For the first time since arriving here, I went off of the main path and looked around for the building. After a few minutes, I found a small structure, although it looked more like a shed than anything that could be described as a building. "Hello, are you in there Nagisa?" I called out. When I knocked on the door, it rattled on its hinges.

After a while, the door slowly opened. "Y-yes?" From the small crack in the door, Nagisa poked her head through and looked at me. I was just going to ask about the costumes, but ultimately, my curiosity got the better of me.
