I slept in today, and it felt great. It was almost ten in the morning, and I was standing next to the toaster, waiting for my bagel to be ready. Now that I was about a month into my last semester, I was mentally preparing myself for a weekend full of homework.

I slept great for many reasons: one, I knew I didn't have to work this weekend, and two, everything that happened with Roman last night. It was a lot, and my mind was all over the place.

Right as my bagel popped up, the front door opened, followed by the door slamming shut and Morgan stomping around the kitchen island and into her room, slamming her door shut. I stood there, eyes wide, not knowing what her brazen attitude was about.

Considering she slept over at Blake's last night, I was narrowing it down to something involved with him. I gave her a few minutes to cool down while I put some cream cheese on my bagel and brewed myself a quick iced coffee in our Nespresso machine.

After a few minutes, I walked over and knocked on Morgan's bedroom door. "Wanna talk about it?" I asked quietly, but she didn't answer.

I slowly opened her bedroom door to see that she was unpacking everything from her overnight bag on her bed, so I quietly walked in.

"I don't wanna talk about it," Morgan mumbled as she threw some dirty clothes in her hamper.

"...Okay, I―"

She turned around to me with red eyes and a tired look on her face. "After having incredible sex last night, I woke up to see multiple messages from different girls...Instagram, Snapchat, and texts on his phone because he forgot to turn his fucking ringer off," she ranted, making my heart drop to my stomach. "He wasn't up yet, so I left."

I looked down at the ground, shaking my head, not knowing what to say. "Gosh, Morg, I'm sorry, I―"

"I don't need a fucking pity party," she muttered. "You never listen to my rants about him, anyway, and how that type of shit has always in the back of my mind."

I squinted my brows in confusion. She's mad at me now?

"W-what are you talking about?" I asked her in disbelief. "I've only been the most loyal friend to you and have always been an ear for your rants about him."

"Spare me," she scoffed, throwing her duffle bag in her closet. "You always just nod or barely make a noise in response, and hell, maybe I should've seen this coming...Maybe I'm just a dumb, naïve bitch," she mumbled under her breath.
