NO ONE HAS EVER HAD ME, NOT LIKE YOU

Andy's eyes where wide open. her heart was beating like a bolt, and for the most part, she was speechless.

"i,i, miranda darling, i need some time to think please. " miranda was really mad with herself. what she was thinking? she hadn't spoke with andrea for three weeks and when they finally try to reconnect she throws her bomb...
"andrea, i am so sorry. i didn't have to ask that. it was something enormous, i am sorry... " the older woman said looking down at the floor like she was waiting for it to collapse and finally disappear.
"no, you don't have to apologize. just give me some time. " andrea said trying to make her feel better by patching softly her back.
"i know i am not an easy person. i am rude and weird and old. why would someone like you would like me? " miranda started crying into andrea's arms.
"darling, a long time ago i decided that if i wanted to have an affair you I have to separate the workspace from the personal matters. Right now I don't give a fuck about who Miranda Priestly is. You are just Miranda, my Miranda, the most caring and loving person I've ever met. And don't even think to say such things about yourself. You are beautiful, for me you are the most beautiful woman on earth, so stop crying, stand up and let's get some sleep. " She gave Miranda a tender kiss and then by holding her they both transfered themselves to their bedroom.

Andrea's head was crazy, she really wanted to say yes, to say yes a million times without regretting that. But the all the what ifs are coming to the light. But it was three a.m. for God's sake, so she would take a nap, finally with Miranda, and the following days she would have the demanded time to think about it.

The two women slept almost only three hours. The clock rung really quickly, it was already six. They both had to get on their feet and get ready for another painstaking day.

After a long time both women finally woke up happy, tangled on each other.
"Good morning baby. " Andrea greeted Miranda with sleepy tone, who was looking at her while carresing her hair.
"Good morning, I would really want to stay here for the whole day with you but we unfortunately have to get up. " Andy pursed her lips and looked at Miranda.
"Oh fine... But! I have an idea. " Andy said with a smirk.
"Ok spill the tea. " Miranda said curiously.
"Now that the girls are on vacation why don't we take a week of and have a nice family trip? " Miranda's eyes lightened up.
"That's a wonderful idea honey. I'll talk with Nigel and try to finish my important liabilities in the next to days. Do you want to discuss about a destination after work and then to announce it to the girls."
"Oh yeah. That sounds ideal, I am delighted that you agree with me. " Andy said and they both got up.

As they went to the kitchen Andy decided to make some breakfast for all of them.
"I have forgotten how nice is your cooking! " Miranda said as she gave a bite to one of the hot pancakes.
"Oh thank you, but don't try to flatter me your's is better" Andy said and laughed.
"Oh I know that darling" Miranda smirked and started kissing Andrea.
"Finally!" The voice of Caroline sounded as somehow the girls have managed to get down without making any noise.
Both women smiled and sat down on the table to wait for Linda to start their breakfast.

"Don't you say! Finally! " Nigel said happily when he saw Andrea entering the office with a wide smile.
"That's exactly what the girls said when they saw Miranda and I kissing on the kitchen counter that morning" Andrea said with a smirk and then gave the man a long hug. "Thank you Nige!" Andy said thankfully and sat on a chair.
"So tell me everything! " He said with curiosity.
"Nigel, she asked me to marry her. " She didn't want to expand her details about all the events because that was the only thing that mattered.
"So where's the ring? " The man said confused.
"It was an enormous proposal, but anyway I didn't say yes. I asked some time to think. " Andy admitted a bit abashed.
"Air, I need some air! Why didn't you say yes? " Nigel said and started waving the papers on his hand to provide him some air.
