The evening in Seoul was nothing short of magical, with the Dano festival painting the city in vibrant hues of tradition and celebration. The alive marketplace was buzzing with people in colorful hanboks, stalls selling, fragrant foods, and laughter echoing through the air. Lanterns swayed gently in the breeze, casting a warm glow over the scenery, making it all look ethereal.
Taehyung stood at the entrance of a traditional restaurant with open service area bustling with the evening crowd. He tapped his phone, eyes focused on the screen as if waiting for someone to reply.
'Where are you?' he typed.
Dressed casually in a simple t-shirt and jeans, he wore a long traditional coat draped over his shoulders that made him stand out in the crowd. The sleek cut of his outfit and his tall frame turned several heads as women passed by, whispering and stealing glances. Yet, Taehyung remained oblivious to it all, his attention solely on his phone.
But a sudden light tap on his shoulder jolted him from his thoughts. He turned, expecting someone familiar, but instead, a shy girl in a delicate hanbok stood before him, her cheeks flushed were pink as if she found the man of his dreams.
She nervously fiddled with her sleeves before softly asking, "Excuse me, sir... are you free?"
Taehyung blinked, momentarily caught off guard, before his lips curved into a polite but firm smile, "Sorry, no," he replied, his voice gentle but dismissive. The girl nodded, her face falling slightly as she hurried back to her friend group, who quietly gave the girl a sympathetic look.
Taehyung exhaled, turning back toward the street. And then, he saw him...
Jungkook...
Time seemed to be slowed, the bustling market around him blurred into a soft haze, and the only thing vivid in his eyes was the man with an extraordinary charm. Jungkook strode towards him, dressed in a traditional coat over a silk shirt, the simplicity of his outfit was highlighting the grace and strength of his presence. The rich, dark fabric clung perfectly to his lean yet muscular frame, and his black hair, slightly tousled, gave him an effortlessly captivating look.
And soon... those bambi eyes met the almond one, and the world around begun to fade away.
Taehyung's breath caught in his throat, his heart pounding as if he was seeing Jungkook for the first time. For a moment, he couldn't move, couldn't speak, Man he's whipped! Jungkook approached, his lips curving into a soft, knowing smile, as if he's fully aware of the effect he had on the other male.
"Are you just going to keep staring, or should I kick you awake?" Jungkook said with a teasing smirk as he reached Taehyung, his voice was low yet filled with amusement. He gave a light punch to Taehyung's shoulder, pulling him out of his daze.
Taehyung blinked, shaking his head as if trying to wake up from a dream, "Sorry... you just-" he hesitated, his eyes still tracing the way the evening light danced over Jungkook's face, "-you look incredible."
