Hu Chen Mu was the typical green tea protagonist in the original story, living in the Hu family after his true identity was revealed. He replaced the adopted son, Hu Mengyu, and wreaked havoc on his life. Stealing projects, exposing secrets to his lover Jiang Ming, and refusing to save his own father with a kidney transplant and eventually went down hand to hand with Jiang Ming which all led to the eventual downfall of the Hu family. This time around Hu Mengyu became villain and eventually tried to kill Hu Chen Mu eventually living in jail.

Yan JingJi, who is a self-made multimillionaire and an orphan as his parents got into a car accident, the Neighbour childhood sweetheart of Hu Mengyu. Yan JingJi got transmigrated in this world helped Hu Mengyu with his phycological problems eventually helping him and, on the way, producing the flower bud for love between both of them. Eventually Yan JingJi made Hu Chen Mu's every plan fail making him miserable. This time around Hu Chen Mu became villain and eventually tried to kill Hu Mengyu eventually living in jail for the rest of his years till 80.]

In this timeline, Hu Chen Mu as the real son of the Hu family who was switched at birth with Hu Mengyu. As a result, Hu Chen Mu grew up in a middle-class family, while Hu Mengyu was raised as the treasured heir of the wealthy Hu family.

Eventually, the truth about their identities came to light, and Hu Chen Mu was brought back into the Hu family. At first, the Hu parents were torn but tried to accept both sons. However, Hu Chen Mu, filled with resentment, saw Hu Mengyu as an obstacle to reclaiming the love and privilege that should have been his.

Hu Chen Mu harbored deep jealousy and bitterness toward Hu Mengyu for having lived the life he felt he deserved. He wanted to take everything away from Hu Mengyu—the family's affection, their wealth, and their status.

Once Hu Chen Mu joined the family, he deliberately targeted Hu Mengyu. Though Hu Mengyu tried to be friendly at first, Hu Chen Mu's actions turned their relationship toxic.

Hu Chen Mu manipulated business dealings, stealing hard-earned projects that Hu Mengyu worked on to prove his value to the family. He leaked secrets about the Hu family's company to his lover, Jiang Ming, in an attempt to ruin Hu Mengyu's reputation and push him out of the business. Hu Chen Mu constantly played the victim in front of their parents, subtly making them question their trust in Hu Mengyu.

As a result of Hu Chen Mu's schemes, Hu Mengyu's self-esteem crumbled, and he was slowly pushed into the role of a villain, both in the family and in the eyes of society. Hu Mengyu was forced to fight for his place, becoming more and more desperate.

By this time Yan JingJi who was Hu Mengyu's childhood friend and someone who had always been close to him. Though Yan JingJi was not romantically interested in Hu Mengyu till now, he felt a deep loyalty and responsibility to protect him.

When Yan JingJi saw the suffering Hu Chen Mu had inflicted on Hu Mengyu, he tried to reason with Hu Chen Mu, but it was no use—Hu Chen Mu was consumed by his greed and desire to claim everything for himself. Yan JingJi then stood up for Hu Mengyu, becoming Hu Chen Mu's biggest enemy and rallying the Hu family and the company's board against him.

Yan JingJi orchestrated the downfall of Hu Chen Mu's plans, exposing his manipulations and forcing him to face the consequences of his actions. 

In the original timeline this time around: Hu Chen Mu managed to take all the family's property, leaving the Hu family poor and shattered. Hu Mengyu was completely ruined, and blackened into a villain, consumed by his hatred for Hu Chen Mu. Yan JingJi, though he stopped Hu Chen Mu's rise, was haunted by guilt, feeling that he hadn't done enough to save Hu Mengyu from falling into despair. 

Hu Mengyu and Yan JingJi do not remember the original timeline, but the dynamic between them and Hu Chen Mu is still tense due to the remnants of their previous rivalry. They still distrust Hu Chen Mu, seeing him as the same scheming person he was in the original timeline. 

Right now, Hu Chen Mu had an accident because he was drinking and driving, thankfully nothing happened with him or to anyone so there was no police case, but he was still in the hospital bed.

Host or we can say Hu Chen Mu opened his eyes to the white ceiling and muttered "It smells so bad"

He felt the sudden rush of emotions the betrayal, the greed, the jealousy, the heart break, the overwhelmingness, the sadness, every negative emotion. It's not the first time he is getting so many emotions at a same time, but he always feels heart wrenching like his heart will be torn out after a moment or so.

No one came through. And as Hu Chen Mu felt in his heart it was just tiredness. 

"I just wanna sleep." Mumbling that he slept away.
