As Aarathi's initiative to combat violence against women gained momentum, she knew that confronting the perpetrators directly was essential. Her commitment to justice and her resolve to create a safer environment for women in Khansaar drove her to take bold steps. She decided to address the abusive men head-on, making it clear that their actions would not be tolerated. She killed an abusive man who molested a young girl mercilessly in-front of everyone. She made them to throw that dead body as food to domesticated vultures.

Aarathi arranged a public assembly where she addressed a gathered crowd including both victims and those accused of abuse. The atmosphere was tense with the weight of her words hanging heavily in the air.

Aarathi stood confidently at the podium, her voice resonant and authoritative.

Aarathi : We have gathered here today to address a serious issue that affects many lives in our community. Violence against women will not be tolerated. To those who have engaged in such acts, I want to make something very clear ! the consequences of your actions will be severe.

Her gaze was unwavering as she continued.

Aarathi : We have a history in Khansaar that serves as a stern reminder of what happens to those who think they can get away with abuse. My own brother, Vishnu, was a man who misused his power and subjected women to cruelty. He paid the ultimate price for his actions.

The crowd murmured, and Aarathi's words seemed to resonate deeply.

Aarathi : Deva, a man who stands among us, made a choice to act against such injustice. Vishnu's fate serves as a cautionary tale for those who believe they are above the law. If you continue on this path of violence and abuse, you too will face consequences.

Aarathi's words carried a strong message, both to the abusers and to the community. She was determined to ensure that the culture of silence and impunity surrounding violence against women was eradicated. Mythili also attended this on aarathi's request.

.............

Mythili had been following the developments with great interest, and the assembly had given her much to think about. She had always admired Deva, but now she was learning more about his role in the history of Khansaar.

One evening, she was speaking with Aarathi who had been involved in documenting the history of Khansaar. The conversation shifted to the topic of Vishnu and the events surrounding his demise.

Mythili: I've heard you saying about  Vishnu and how Deva was involved in his story. Can you tell me more about it ?

Aarathi  nodded by understanding the importance of the request.

Aarathi : Vishnu was known for his brutal behaviour and abuse. When Deva discovered the extent of his cruelty, he took decisive action to protect those who were suffering. It was a difficult decision, but it was necessary to stop further injustice. Deva's actions were a significant turning point in how we address such issues in Khansaar. The woman of mahara worships him as the son of kateramma.

Mythili's admiration for Deva grew deeper as she listened. She had always respected him but learning about his role in such a pivotal moment in their history added a new layer to her feelings.

Mythili : So, Deva was not only a warrior but also a protector of justice. It must have been incredibly difficult for him.

Aarathi ! It wasn't . His actions were both courageous and controversial, but they were crucial in shaping the laws and the values we uphold today. His actions erupted a war ! But the victory was ours.

Mythili felt a profound sense of respect and admiration for Deva. His bravery in confronting such a grave injustice and his commitment to protecting the vulnerable were qualities she deeply admired.

................

One evening, Mythili found herself alone with Deva. She had been reflecting on what she had learned and felt a growing sense of admiration and affection for him.

Mythili : Deva, I've been learning more about your past and your role in Khansaar's history. I want you to know how much I respect and admire you for what you did.

Deva looked at her with a mix of curiosity and modesty.

Mythili : I understand that. But knowing more about what you did makes me admire you even more. Your courage and commitment to justice are truly inspiring.

Deva's expression softened and he smiled.

Deva : Thank you mythili.

As they talked, the connection between them deepened. Mythili's admiration for Deva grew and her feelings became more evident in her interactions with him. She found herself drawn to his sense of justice, his bravery, and his unwavering commitment to doing what was right.

The bond between them strengthened, and Mythili's growing affection was subtly expressed through her support and admiration. She found solace in his presence and felt a deepening connection as she continued to witness his dedication to their community.

In the heart of Khansaar, as reforms were being implemented and lives were being transformed, the personal connections between its people grew stronger, intertwining their fates in the ongoing journey towards justice and understanding.

.............

The deal was formalized in a discreet meeting far removed from the public eye. Varadha, preoccupied with the broader strategy of securing alliances and expanding Khansaar's influence, was unaware of the hidden motives of these rivals. They had presented themselves as valuable partners by offering strategic advantages and additional resources that Varadha deemed beneficial.

Varadha : I appreciate your willingness to work with us. These resources will greatly aid in our efforts to strengthen Khansaar's position.

Dealer : We're pleased to be of service. Our support will be unwavering, and we look forward to a prosperous partnership.

The rivals maintained a veneer of cordiality, their true intentions are masked by a facade of cooperation.

.............

A few weeks later, Khansaar was abuzz with preparations for a grand celebration . It was a time of festivity, with decorations adorning the streets, music filling the air, and people from all walks of life coming together in joyous unity.

Amid the revelry, Mythili noticed a group of unfamiliar faces among the crowd. The strangers exuded an air of quiet menace that immediately set her on edge. She recognized them as her hidden rivals from the past. They now arrived in Khansaar under the guise of celebrating with the populace.

Her heart raced as she realized the gravity of the situation. She knew that their presence here could spell trouble, especially given their hidden agenda. She needed to act quickly to warn Deva and ensure that their true intentions did not disrupt the fragile stability of Khansaar.

......

Mythili found Deva standing near one of the celebration's central gatherings. He is engaged in conversation with a few kaparis. She approached him with urgency and her face is a mix of concern and determination.

Mythili : Deva, I need to speak with you urgently.

Deva looked at her with a questioning gaze.

Deva : What's wrong, Mythili ?

Mythili : Those people over there.

she pointed discreetly towards the group of rivals mingling among the celebrants,

Mythili : they are my hidden rivals. I've seen them before, and I'm sure they're here for something. They have a history of deceit and manipulation.

Deva's expression hardened as he followed her gaze.

Deva : Are you certain about this ?

Mythili : Absolutely.
