The Maheshwaris - Possesion and Devotion

The brides sits beside their respective grooms . The priest chanted manthras and asked the couples to take seven rounds around the fire. Rudraksh gets up , his bride also gets up with him they started to take rounds. It's not same in the case of Akash, he gets up but his bride didn't get up, Akash took a deep breath and lifted her in his arms and started to complete seven rounds. Everyone was confused by their behaviour after completing the rounds, the priest asked them to tie the nuptial chain. Rudraksh tied the chain looking at her. Akash's hands were shaking when he ties the nuptial chain. Later, they were asked to put vermilion on their wives hair partition.

Everyone was excited now, because they are going to lift the veil of brides. They both lifted their veils revealing their faces. Everyone shocked

" Mr Maheshwari, 😲 what is this? Who is the girl sitting beside your brother and why Devika is sitting beside Akash" she asked in shock ofcourse, if she is not with him, she could have fainted with shock.
But he looked unaffected by this change.

Rudraksh put the vermilion on her hair partition , they both looked at each other one with blank expression while other with innocence. A pinch of vermillion fallen on her face

Akash looked at Devika, they both are staring at each other with blank expression. Akash smirked at her, Devika furrowed her eyebrows. Akash took the whole plate of vermillion and throw it on her face.

Resulting everyone shock but Devika seems to be unbothered about it.

" OMG 😱, I am sure this is going to be the breaking news. I think there is a lot of age difference between that girl and Rudraksh" she looked at him and immediately changed her sentence" I mean Rudraksh Sir " she said.

He comes very close to her, " mind your tongue or else " he stopped and looked at her eyes" you w.. will c .cu..cut my tongue" she completed his sentence with fear.

Maheshwari Mansion

Kalyani, Vijayamba and Ananth were waiting for the arrival of the newly wed couples. The cars stopped infront of the mansion. Rudraksh and his bride were standing infront of the door. Kalyani done Aarthi for them and welcomed them. Akash lifted Devika in bridal style and stood at the doors , kalyani done Aarthi for them and welcomed them.

They went to the Puja room, the couples were asked to perform aarthi for god. Rudraksh held the aarthi while his wife hesitated first, but Rudraksh made her hold it.

Kalyani handed the aarthi to Devika, Akash still carrying her in his arms, she performed her aarthi.

"You all must be tired go get some
rest "  kalyani said.
" I have an important work, I am going for office.  " Rudraksh said and went out.

A maid brought that girl to Rudraksh's room. She looked around and looked herself in the mirror. Tears filled in her eyes by looking her reflection. She sat on the sofa and started to look at the door waiting for Rudraksh,  maybe.

Akash's room

Akash made her sit on the couch and he sits beside her."  Listen, whatever your name. We are not husband and wife, this marriage holds nothing to me. I don't interfere in your life and same goes for you. You can use my name, my money , my pride everything . " He said as it's common, Devika didn't utter a word.

He received a call " hello, Joya, how are you? .... Ofcourse, how can I forgot your birthday. .... I will be there soon" he said and went outside.

Once he left, Devika burst into cries, she started to throw all her jewelleries, her eyes swollened and her face become dull.
