Haeun stirred from her sleep, squinting at the morning sun spilling through the windows. Groaning softly, she hugged her pillow tighter, intending to go back to sleep.Just as she was on the verge of dozing off, she felt Seungcheol hovering over her, his lips trailing featherlight kisses down her back. The faint scent of his cologne lingered in the air, awakening her senses and flooding her mind with vivid memories of their night together.
They had taken their time, savoring each moment as if the world outside did not exist. The intimacy ignited something deep within her—an awareness of desires she hadn't known existed. Seungcheol was patient, guiding her with a tenderness that made her feel safe, cherished, and most of all, loved.
His touch was gentle yet passionate, each action revealing how much he had longed for her. It was in the way he looked at her, the way he held her close, and the words he whispered in her ear as he made her his.
Slowly opening her eyes, Haeun craned her neck slightly to face her husband.
"Morning, sleepyhead," he mumbled against her skin. "I didn't want to wake you, but it's almost noon."
"Really?" She jumped up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes before letting out a yawn. "I don't think I've ever slept in like this before."
"Well, there are a couple of things you never did before until last night," he teased while playfully wiggling his eyebrows, making her cheeks flush a bright pink.
She gaped at his offhand remark, hitting him with a pillow as she burst into incredulous laughter.
"Ow!" He winced dramatically before grabbing her waist and pulling her closer, planting light kisses all over her face.
"Seungcheol, stop!" She giggled uncontrollably as he finally settled down. "Can we spend the rest of the day like this, just us?"
"I was hoping you would say that," he replied with a grin. "I don't feel like sharing you with anyone else today."
"We should let the others know, though," she suggested, nestling her head in the crook of his neck.
"I'll text Joshua and Jeonghan." He agreed as he took his phone and quickly typed a message before hitting send.
"What did you tell them exactly?" She lifted her head, her expression curious.
"Just that they shouldn't expect our presence for today," he replied with a shrug. "Oh, and I warned them that if they dared to interrupt us in any way, I would never speak to them again."
She burst into laughter before a thought struck her. "Do you think they know that we... you know?"
"I'm pretty sure they were able to put two and two together by now," he chuckled, leaning closer, the warmth of his body enveloping her. "And when I say they, I mean Aeri and Yujin."
Haeun squirmed at this, burying her face in his chest as he laughed.
"You shouldn't be embarrassed," he added, tilting her chin up so they were facing each other. "They're probably happier than we are."
She nodded reluctantly and nestled deeper into Seungcheol's embrace. "I'm still getting used to everything. Last night was... amazing, but it was also so new for me."
"It was new for both of us in different ways," he said, his voice steady and comforting. "But you don't have to worry. You were perfect."
"I feel like I'm not sure what I'm doing. I mean, I just—" she started to second guess herself, but he cut her off.
"Last night was really special to me because it was with you." He brushed his thumb gently across her cheek, his touch sending a wave of warmth through her. "I wouldn't change a thing."
