Clash of Worlds

Summer 2028, Rocam Marketplace

Rudolph and Lisaria, the two loyal servants of the imperial family were busy shopping in the crowded street of the daily town's market when they saw an Earth's coalition's soldier that was watching them. In fact, the coalition decided to mantain a small military presence deep in the empire's territory untill it was sure that any potential menace (in form of any hiding member of the demon lord's army) wasn't gone. 

Furthermore, the "liberal" part of the UN was busy "persuading" the emperor to adopt some reforms regarding commoner's rights.

 A law was made that protected them aganist any noble's abuse. They were also granted the right to go to school (free schools managed by earthlings with the supervision of the emperor and Limir's church were created in contraposition to the magic ones attended by nobles).

"Since the otherworders came here things have improved for us, the commoners." The elven maid said.

"I don't know.... I feel like they are more instered in our resources more than anything... Anyway, I will continue serving his majesty like I always did." The butler replied.

Some days later, Earth's FOB.

After the peace conference, the emperor decided to punish harshly the vassal states that were about the rebel during the war aganist the Solat Alliance: they had to reduce their army even more and their borders where strengthened with more lomorian troops. The King of Masal, king Kristo II, and The Prince of Kursov, Vastor Kursov IV, tried sending a delegation to persuade Rotar that its accusation where false but he didn't take it. "Be grateful that I didn't send my army to conquer your pathetic countries." The emperor said. 

Meanwhile, some scientists belonging to the main space organizations of the planet (NASA, ESA, etc.) were busy proposing to the governements of the countries's coalition an interesting idea: to launch a satellite into ordbit in order to scout the other continents on Apollo 2026.

"We could find out more about the planet's history; find other civilization and, more importantly, a lot of resources that could fuel our economy!" Nasa's  CEO said.

"We also may find other ancient civilization's bases with a lot of interesting tech." He continued

Every country's representative listened carefully to the proposal and agreed to its founding: a race new age of discovery had just started and everyone was eager to partecipate in order to not to be left behind: another phase of the Second Cold War had just started.

Autumn 2028, Earth's FOB.

Giovanni Rossi, who resumed teaching full time after the things finally started to calm down, was called back to the base and here he found a familiar face...

"Valentina! It's nice seeing you again... How are things going?" He asked.

"Quite well... I managed to see my family after so much time. They were worried about me after hearing about the war and all the stuff that just happened... Ha, I have a news for everyone... I have a job now: official magic advisor for the coalition. They pay me quite well but it's so hard to balance my studies with work but if that helps me supporting my family I will persist!"

"Also, the princess and Lady Cassiria say hi. The war also put them under a lot of stress... They said that their fathers aren't the same anymore: before they were prideful but now they look more "humble"." The redhead mage explained.

"The received a lesson about humily... The thought that their magic made them invincible and now some magicless countries destroyed them without so much effort." Giovanni explained.
