Ferndale High School Paper
Will they Redeem Themselves?
Over this past Friday night on the field of the Ferndale Falcons, they lost their 2nd game in a row. From starting this season with a 4-0 winning streak with numbers in the 60s to barely catching Ricci's passes and having their last game at a devastating 0-17. They need their wide receiver, Braylen Hannah, to hurry up and make a quick recovery from the tragic leg injury he faced at their first home game. Once Hannah gets back on the field everyone hopes their captain, quarterback, and star player Dominic Ricci can reform the team to pull out a victorious season and win their last home game.
That's all for Football this week but make sure to donate to the student leadership's online website to help buy new equipment for our football teams.
Go Falcons!

"Damnit" Braylen huffs slamming the school paper on our lunch table
"This is bullshit, I should be back on the field but my stupid ass doctors say I need more time to heal or some shit 'Oh your bones are young and we don't want you to get more injured than you already are'" he mocks in a high pitched tone.
"Calm down you big baby," I say, picking up the paper he threw, I open it up and read what he's complaining about.
"Easy for you to say Mr. Star player" he mocks again.
"Oh please it's just a paper and also it's probably good that your doctors say that you can't play" Braylen has always had a fiery side to him, and he most definitely has a passion for football, ever since first grade when we were sat next to each other and he asked me what sports I played. I said football and he asked where I played. I told him where. Then he joined, and the rest is history. "Oh by the way did you get your math grade up? My dad said you won't be able to come back in once you healed unless it back up to a C+ and he might crash out if you don't"
"Yah Mr. Glosh, is getting my last homework assignment graded so I should be good by tomorrow, still won't be able to play but the grades will be good"
Braylen and I are very different in a lot of aspects. We both love football but that's about it when it comes to similarities. I have a 4.5 GPA and growing, in my senior year and Braylen is just passing most of his classes. I mean we are similar in height and build but, style wise he is a lot more edgy than me. He likes chains, baggy clothes and questionable graphics on his shirts. Me on the other hand, I like a good pair of jeans and a crew neck and I wear a cross necklace occasionally. Bray hasn't had a relationship in years, well technically he has a new one every week but it's more of a crappy one-night-stand then he ghosts the poor girl the next day. To be honest , I'm surprised he hasn't gotten anyone pregnant yet.
On the other hand I have been in a committed relationship with my girlfriend Sarah, she is very pretty with her long blond hair and blue eyes. My dad likes her a lot and I'm pretty sure that he wants me to marry her but I don't know.
"Dommmmyyyy!" I hear coming from behind me in a terrible singing voice that I have to suffer listening to every day.
"Oh why hello miss opera" I say in a smug tone as one of my other best friends sits down with her crappy boyfriend next to us looking a little flushed and disheveled, like she just ran a mile or something. Her long brown hair is put up in a messy bun, and the light makeup on her face is smudged around a bit. Her boyfriend is on the football team but I don't think he has played a game this season.
