~Ten years later~

Freen pushed open the door to the cafe, letting both herself and Becky inside. They walked up to the counter, hand in hand and started looking over the big sign above the counter. Freen turned to Becky, "I'm getting an americano, what would you like?"

"Hot chocolate."

"Of course." Freen let go of Becky's hand and flagged down the barista. Becky watched her profile as she talked to the man on the other side of the counter, when a certain voice caught her attention.

"Baby, I'll be right back." Becky excused herself, and Freen nodded in acknowledgement, letting Becky go. Becky followed the voice till she saw a couple sitting at a table outside. They had a few more grey hairs and wrinkeles, but Becky knew who it was immediately, "Alicia? Jum?"

Their heads turned and their faces lit up at the recongizition, standing up and wrapping the girl into a hug. They let go and the girl stood in front of the couple, still a bit shorter than them but taller than the last time they met.

"How have you been, Becky? We haven't seen you in ten years." Alicia asked, letting Jum wrap her arm around her own and rest her cheek on her arm.

"I've been good. I graduated college."

"Or really? What did you major in?"

"Nursing. Actually I'm getting married this summer, and Freen and I got our fostering licenses."

Jum's lips curled into a smile, "I heard, Yoko told me. Where's our invitation?"

Becky mimicked her smile, "I invited Nam, she was supposed to give the information to you guys. She's lazy, so I shouldn't have expected that."

Both parents let out a laughter of agreement, Jum smiled fondly, letting nostalgia hit her as she imagined the teenager she knew years ago, "are you happy?"

Sneaking a glance back into the shop where Freen leaned against the counter, waiting on the drinks, Becky couldn't help but smile, "I am."

"Then that's all I could've wished for you. Jan ended up adopting you, right?"

"Yeah, three years ago as my college graduation present. She got married a few years back as well."

"That's nice. I'm suprised you never came over, especially since you and Nam are roommates."

"Yeah, I always mean to. But it's been ten years, I didn't know if you'd still want to have me over."

"Of course. You always have a home here."

"Babe, you ready? We need to pick up the little monsters after soccer for my moms" Freen asked, holding the drinks and looked up from her phone, recently had exited the shop. She smiled at Jum and Alicia, bowing in greeting.

"Yeah, I'm ready." Becky smiled, before turning to Alicia and Jum for one last time, "I really hope you two can make it to the wedding."

"We wouldn't dream of missing it."

"I guess I should be going now." Becky motioned to Freen, and the couple nodded, watching as Becky waved goodbye and made her way to Freen. She took her hot chocolate and grabbed Freen's hand, and they made their way down the side walk.

The couple watched as they walked down the road and faded more away from sight, and Jum couldn't help the smile on her face. She turned to Alicia who mirrored her expression and nodded, the couple walked the other way, leaving the coffee shop.

Becky stopped and turned around, watching the couple walk away, a nostalgic look adorning her face. Freen watched as she did this, "are you okay?"

"Yeah. I love you."

"I love you too."

Original author's note: For anyone slightly confused with the ending, in chapter 18 Noey says their fostering license was close to expiring, but because of the adoption they were safe. But the adoption fell through and so did the license.
