When Saphira was decent, she left her bedroom to make her way to the kitchen. She shivered due to the cool air of the facility, even with the jackets she was currently wearing. There was no heating here, or if there was, it did not work anymore. Plus, leaving the warmth of her bed didn't help. But she knew that she had to walk around today. Exploring the city with Springtrap was both exciting and terrifying at the same time. Especially given Saphira knew he could get really angry and lash out.
As she entered the kitchen, Saphira saw Amelia sitting at the table nervously. It was clear she had already eaten, but she was staring down at the table while Springtrap glared at the girl. But as soon as she walked in, Springtrap looked at Saphira and softened his expression as he smiled at her. He was genuinely happy to see Saphira, and he was glad she was out of the room quickly as well.
"The flatbread and jam are on the counter over there, darling..." Springtrap gestured over to where the food was. "I hope the flatbread is still warm. Your friend got the flatbread out of the oven a little while ago." Amy looked up as Saphira walked over to the counter to grab the plate. Springtrap walked over to the table to pull out a chair. "Come and sit, darling. Do you want me to massage your neck while you eat?" Saphira nodded as she walked over and sat down. "Good. Allow me to caress your neck before you start eating."
Saphira just smiled as she relaxed and felt Springtrap's hands around her neck. She did flinch a little, as the fact he had choked her still was on her mind. But as soon as he pressed his fingers into her neck and began to massage, Saphira relaxed and sighed silently as the massage was so good. She wondered if she could convince Springtrap to continue to do it even after the bruise had healed. It might not be so hard to convince.
She reached to the flatbread to spread some jam over it before she began to break it apart and eat. And she was glad that she found it so much easier to eat. She didn't even know how Springtrap even knew it would help her, but that didn't matter. She enjoyed it, and Saphira's intrigue in this animatronic was growing. She wondered how much of his life has been good, because it seemed to her it was more of a tragedy.
Amelia was watching silently, though her expression was full of disgust. She didn't understand why Saphira was not repulsed by Springtrap. Especially the blood stains on the animatronic's fingers still reek horribly of death...though the entire animatronic smelt like death, and Amelia found eating hard because she wanted to gag and throw up because of the smell. She just didn't know how Saphira even tolerated it, but she did know that Saphira seemed to be okay with killing people and dead bodies, so she figured that it didn't bother Saphira at all.
Saphira didn't notice the way Amelia was looking at them. Springtrap did, but he had chose to ignore her. She was only staring in disgust, and not actually voicing her opinion. Springtrap had a few words with the girl that morning anyway, so Amelia knew to not say anything at this time. Her life would be on the line otherwise. Technically, her life was on the line regardless.
Saphira didn't take her time eating her food, even though she wanted to. Springtrap's hands were working their magic, and she wanted to feel a back massage now. But she figured that might be for another time. She wanted to make sure she was satisfied. It would be good if they found more food as well, since they could use all the food they could find. Even though they would ration what there was currently, Saphira knew that they needed other food to survive.
Springtrap watched Saphira eat the flatbread intently. Seeing her take each bite made him happy. He breathed in the scent that was still lingering on her hair. "Darling, I am happy you are eating well. Once you are done and the plates are cleaned, we shall head out. You and runt here will come with me." Amelia shivered as she still hated being called runt. "I will lead the way through the city, since I know you are not familiar with it."
