We had just fled from Oksu station. After splitting from the rest of the station's people, we left from the exit on the far side of the station. Thankfully, the contamination in the air was currently at its lowest, so armed just with some face masks, we were quickly running through the streets of ruined Seoul whilst avoiding all the monsters nearby.

Gilyoung was looking around with awe on his face, just earlier, we had seen an insect king brawling with another monster, and Gilyoung was starstruck. "Noona, Noona! It's so tall!" His eyes were sparkling like a kid on Christmas getting their favourite toy. Saika, on the other hand, looked vividly disgusted. Her skin was slightly pale too.

"It's... disgusting... and creepy" She didn't seem to like insects very much. Whilst I spoke with the kids, I could hear Lee Hyunsung and Kim Dokja chatting amicably behind us. It was a nice change of pace compared to how their relationship was originally. It felt more personal – yet another bonus of the Fourth Wall's absence.

At the front of our group, I came to a halt as I heard some low voices coming from a convenience store a few feet ahead. I found them. I threw my hand up in a call for silence as I slowly tiptoed towards the store's entrance.

"We're so lucky boss isn't here." One of the few men spoke up from his spot leaning against the wall. He was a terrible lookout, and so were his companions. "Yeah," he smirked maliciously, "we've even got this woman all to ourselves. She's a looker too.

It was obvious from here what they were planning to do, and I could see Jung Heewon obliviously scanning the shelves for any useful products while the degenerates ogled her from behind.

'Vile beasts'

It made my blood boil, and I could feel waves of rage and killer intent from my companions behind. I would have moved immediately but...

"Wait a minute." Dokja lightly tapped me on the shoulder before whispering in my ear. "We've got to play by the rules of the new world now, wait for a little bit... Okay?"

I exhaled slowly, calming my rage slowly. I knew what Dokja was going for, and it was definitely the right thing to do, so reluctantly, I waited as the men in the shop slowly closed in on and surrounded the helpless Jung Heewon
