Olicity: My Everything (completed)

"Felicity! Get Down!" he yelled, pulling Felicity behind a desk as shots were being fired. There was chaos as men in blue uniforms and automatic weapons closed in on them. Glass was shattering. Bangs and thuds were heard all around. Roy and Diggle were no where to be found.

"Felicity listen to me." Oliver spoke slowly, but urgently so she would understand, as they were hidden behind a fallen desk and much other rubble caused by the shots being fired. "I can hear them, they're nearing this office, and when they do, they'll find us. And by that I mean they'll find ME. You have to promise me, Felicity, that you'll stay down. They'll kill me and only me. You will let them kill ME. You will hide until you're in the clear. You once told me that life was precious. That you wanted so much more from it that I could offer you. Don't give up on that, okay? The only way I will get through this is if I know that you're out there living a happy life. When they find me, when they kill, you have to run. You just have to get out of here. You have to find somewhere safe."

"Oliver, I cant do that." she said almost sobbing, hardly able to get the words out. "You can't think like that. You can't say that. We're gonna get out of this mess. Together."

"Felicity, do you hear yourself?" He tried to respond, immediately getting cut off.

"Listen to me Oliver, listen to me. You told me that I wasn't gonna lose you. You promised me. And I can't lose you. I won't. I know that we're in a difficult situation, but we've been in situations like this before and we always come out on top," she said facing him, looking into his wonderful blue eyes, getting lost in his stare.

"This is different. I'm sorry. I'm sorry all of this happened. I'm sorry I was the one who put you in this position. I'm sorry for everything," he sobbed.

"You have nothing to be sorry for. I don't regret anything, and you shouldnt either. Every moment I have spent with you has been one of the best in my life. You flipped my world around. Everything changed after you and I can't thank you enough. I love you."

"I love you too, more than you can imagine." he responded. Her imagination is pretty big, he thought, I mean, she thought of cronuts before they existed. His mind wondered away for a second as he smiled at the thought. His first happy thought in this dark time. But he became serious again instantaneously. "But you have to promise me, Felicity. You have to promise me you'll stay down, that you'll make it out of here alive. They dont want you, they want me. He wants to take everything from me. YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING!! Please don't let them do that to me. They can take my life, but not yours. PROMISE ME!" he begged her.

"I promise" she said quietly, as tears rolled down her cheeks. It hurt her to see the strongest man that she knew, physically and mentally, her love, looke and sound so broken. The foot steps got louder, and it was clear. The men in the blue uniforms had found the office they were hidden in. This was the end.
