-Flora-

"-a? Flora, can you hear me? You've slept for thirty-two hours, dove, you'll need to wake up so we don't assume you're in a coma. Flora?" Someone was patting my hands gently, warm hands with rough calluses.

A small part of my brain, an annoyingly analytical part, started detailing the calluses, and how they matched certain tools, certain hand positions; for some reason, in less than a millisecond, my brain decided it knew that the tool she (and my brain had decided it knew that, too,) used was a needle and pliers, and I knew exactly how she held it, too.

I reeled, mentally swamped with a tidal wave of sensory data, like I'd exited a sensory deprivation chamber and entered a death metal concert right next to the amps. Sounds and tastes and vibrations -there are three people in the room. Two are wearing metal armor. One is bouncing his foot slightly, with a quarter-inch variance. The left one is on his phone, typing swiftly; he is left handed, but types with his right hand. His left hand is on his waist; he is armed. Metal, small, not long enough to tap the wall behind him with his movement. A dagger?- I flinched, holding my head as if I was trying to press the very thoughts together, take control of it and work it to a reasonable level, until I got a notification that halted all my sensory data all at once.

(Decrease Conscious Sensory Data? Y/N.)

'Yes? 95%?'

(Confirmed. Catalogue and display excess data on request? Y/N.)

'Yes.'

(Confirmed. Use all Non-Mana Intensive Sensory Methods Constantly? Y/N)

'Describe Methods?'

(Confirmed; Methods include Talents: Insight, Search, Inspect, Calculate, Architect, Diagnose, Alert, Sovereign, Memory, and Learn.)

'Define Sovereign?'

(Confirmed; Talent: Sovereign gives the user the affinity for Domain and Aura-Type Skills, deploying Skill Effects over specified regions, generally -but not always- centered on the user, even if they are single-target Skills. Its use as a Sensory Method is to use Inspect and other Single-Target or Vision-Based Talents and Skills without those requirements.)

'Huh... okay, why are Memory and Learn included?'

(Report; Memory is present to Catalogue all collected data. Learn is present to siphon all available knowledge from any source in range of the user, from Books to Devices, such as the device held in the hand of Donovan Lowe, the Rogue standing against the wall in front of the bed. He is sending a report to his Guild, the Silver Lion Guild. They are a Guild of Middling Strength and Repute, which isn't to say much, considering how Guilds stubbornly refuse to behave themselves.)

'... you're a bit snarky for a System Notification?'

(Report: I am a Construct formed within your Subconscious for the strict purpose of cataloguing and passing along Sensory Data and other pieces of information that I (you) can access, but are not using or do not want to use or are too busy to use your main conscious mind for.)

'Ah... so I created you because I knew my senses would get blasted and I'd need a computer to organize it all for me?'

(Report: Yes.)

'Okay... yes, you have my permission to use any and all available methods, but I require you to use them as stealthily as possible; if I have a Stealth or Invisibility Talent somewhere in there, use it!'

(Confirmed; Report: you do not. You do have a Dark Talent, which has Invisibility Spells and Skills in the Tower Maker Skill Tree, however, and if you get to Level 6 and unlock three Skills, you'll have it. For now, I can simply limit the range and mana signature to the absolute minimum, reducing the footprint significantly. Luckily none of the people around except the Doctor are Mages, or they'd have already felt it. Also luckily I look like a Tanker or Barbarian with the Physique I crafted... very Amazonian, very body-builder, very nice. Not very Mage-like, but I don't care.)
