"YOU'RE LATE, KIDS!" PROFESSOR FLITWICK SAID REPROVINGLY AS HARRY OPENED THE CLASSROOM DOOR.
vega gave him an apologetic look and he just nodded. he was always kind to her.
"come along, quickly, wands out, we're experimenting with cheering charms today, we've already divided into pairs --"
vega winced,
pairs?
she found herself a table. flitwick would pair her with someone.
speaking of, she glanced around. where had hermione gone? she was just with them.
harry and ron seemed equally confused from their table to her left.
hermione didn't show up all lesson, and vega ended up being paired with one of the patil twins as the other was out sick.
the cheering charm left majority of the class feeling rather joyous, but unfortunately the patil twin hadn't been particularly skilled with the charm, and vega left feeling just as she did every other day.
she sighed out through her nose, taking a seat in front of fred and george.
fred smirked, "not feeling particularly cheery?"
vega rolled her eyes. of course they caught wind of the use of cheering charms.
"not particularly, no" vega shook her head.
the two snickered.
vega decided to finish up some of her potions homework as she gouged herself on some apple pie, which was nicely hot and left her feeling better than she had previous.
well, that was until she remembered she had divination next.
she groaned as she walked alongside the twins back to the gryffindor common room, "i may just rather jump off the astrology tower before attending another divination lesson"
george just patted vega's head, "oh, sweet child, however may we help?"
vega just rolled her eyes and collapsed into an armchair, the weasley twins battling over who got the bigger spot on the two-seater across from her.
vega finished up her potions essay by the time it was time for her to head out. she gave the twins a slight wave over her shoulder before ducking through the painting, ron and harry catching up to her.
