Calem was shocked, while Serena was smirking, and the crowd raged. "So that's the Ash-Greninja I've heard so much about, huh? said Calem. Chesnaught, use Spiky Shield and then Giga Impact! (yes, Pokemon can have more than four moves in my AU)
Chesnaught surrounded itself in spikes and then lunged towards Greninja, hitting quite hard, while Ash felt the pain.
"Damn, that's strong." Greninja, use Water Shuriken! A Shuriken flew towards Chesnaught, hitting it harder, while Ash told Greninja: "Use the Shuriken on your back as a sword and slice Chesnaught!
"Chesnaught, use-" The attack collided, and Chesnaught was down, with its eyes becoming swirls.
Serena said in a more excited tone, "Chesnaught is unable to battle! Ash Ketchum is the winner!" The crowd raged.
"Well, Ash. Never expected to say this, but you've earned my respect. I won't spy on you two again, he said, as Ash and him shook hands. "Just don't do anything TOO naughty. I don't wanna be an uncle yet." whispered Calem.
Serena overheard, while Ash was trying his best not to blush, even though he didn't understand what that meant. "C-Calem, you can't say that!" said Serena. "It's the truth though." said Calem, while he smirked. "Well, bye you two. I'll be around. Say, Ash. Could you give me your number?" asked Calem. "Sure!" said Ash. They exchanged numbers, and Calem left to go find another battle.
The crowd went away, not wanting to bother, since Kalosian people were more understanding than Kantonians. "Well, Serena. Going back on what I said, I was gonna take you shopping since last time we did I kinda...left you." said Ash.
"That's ok, Ash. I don't want to go shopping anymore though. I want to spend time with you." said Serena. "I'm not going to shop on a date."
They went to sit on a bench near the fields, admiring the scenery as it was getting late, and Serena needed to be back home at 9:00 p.m. On the way, Serena finally noticed that Ash had a bag for some reason, but she didn't question it.
"Serena, you've been saying this word a lot today, so I wanted to ask. What's...a date? asked Ash. "Oh, Ashy. You don't know?" said Serena, while Ash was blushing at the name. "H-Hey, my name's not Ashy!" he said while blushing. Serena giggled at this, while the two just watched the moon.
"Well, a date is simple. It's when a guy asks a girl out, for example, to eat, walk, or just have a nice chat!" said Serena. "Huh. I guess that explains it. Thanks, Serena." said Ash, expecting to be called "Ashy" again. "No problem...Ashy." she said. "You know, the moon is really pretty." said Serena, expecting Ash to say a pickup line. "Yeah, it is." Ash said. "Guess Ash hasn't gotten entirely out of that dense shell of his." Serena thought. They both went to the fields, and lied down on the grass.
"Oh, Serena! I bought a gift for you back in Kanto! Here it is." Ash said. Serena opened the gift, and saw the dress, the necklace and the Poké Puff ingredients. "A-Ash, this is really nice! I love all of it!" said Serena. "I'm glad you like it, Serena." said Ash. "Oh, Ash. I gotta make a call." said Serena. "That's ok, I'll wait." said Ash.
"Hi mom! I was wondering if I could sleep over with my friends!" said Serena, over the phone. "Of course you can, dear! Calem told me you'd probably ask that." said Grace, Serena's mom. Serena hoped Calem had only said that and didn't mention the date part. "Well, that's all. Bye, mom!" said Serena. She stopped the call.
Serena went over to Ash, who was sitting down on the grass. She leaned her head over his shoulder, and seemingly went to sleep. "Looks like someone's sleepy." Ash said. He comforted Serena and ran his fingers through her hair. "I don't know where I'd be without you." Ash called Clemont and Bonnie to come pick them up, and they were here. "C'mon, sleepyhead. Wake up..." Ash said, but Serena was sound asleep. Little did he know, Serena was pretending to be asleep to see what Ash would do.
Ash picked Serena up, bridal style, and took her to the car. Serena was shocked, and trying her best not to blush to pretend she was still sleeping. Bonnie noticed a tiny blush through the window, but decided to not ruin the moment like she always did. Ash sat her down in the car, and let her sleep in his shoulder again. "They're so cute." whispered Bonnie to Clemont, since both Ash and Serena were asleep at this point. "Bonnie, don't interrupt me. I'm driving." said Clemont. Bonnie just sat down and also went to sleep, making Clemont the only one awake. They got to Prism Tower, and went down the car. Clemont had to wake them up. Bonnie pretended to be scared to sleep alone, so she could sleep with Clemont and leave Ash and Serena, or SatoSere, as she called it, to sleep in one room if they wanted to.
Serena saw what she was doing and decided to act scared too, since she did want to share a room with Ash. (not on the same bed, get your mind out of the gutter) Ash understood this, and took Serena to his room, since there were two beds in each. Ash put Serena on the other bed, and he went to sleep on his, as they closed their eyes, and went to sleep.
Hi guys! Since I didn't see a way to separate this into three parts, I decided to turn it all into 2 instead. Also, don't ask where Pikachu is. Just pretend he doesn't exist for now, I just forgot about him. He'll be in next chapter. No hints for next episode, but the gang is going to eat, when some familiar faces crash the show. 😉
