T:so why do you not like going in safe houses?
L:I've been in them to many times, they also do nothing for me as a few times I've been in them they have also gotten into them to, so I guess it's common sense
T:ohhhh, makes sense

They go and finish up their shift as they only had low risk calls all day, they head back to the station and get ready to clock out after doing paperwork for half an hour, Jason comes and picks up Lucy and collects Izzy from her daycare and takes them back to Jason's house.

The next day:

Lucy, Jason and Izzy were awoken at 5:30 to a knock on the door, Lucy and Jason get up and make their way to the door to see who it is, Lucy opens the door, and to her surprise it was Tim Bradford the officer she rides with if she has no open cases,
L:uh hey?
T:hi just thought I'd duck in see how you are
L:oh I'm good, you can come in if you want.
T:sure
Tim walks in and takes a seat down.
L:you want anything to drink? Lucy says with Izzy in her arms as she walks into the kitchen
T:a coffee if u want to make one
L:ofc, Jason come out here I'm making breakfast
Ja:yeah Luce, oh hi bradford what are you doing here?
T:thought I'd duck in see how yous are doing, and Lucy is this Izzy?
L:yeah this is her, you can play with her if you want?
T:yeah I'll play with her.
Tim walks off with Izzy and goes to play a few games with Izzy like hide n seek, tic tac toe, tag and with her dolls.
Ja:I have no idea why Tim stopped by
L:no idea either, he seems good with Izzy tho

L:we need to start getting ready for work, Tim
T:yeah Lucy?
L: Jason and I are gonna go get ready for work are you ready?
T:yeah I got ready before I came here, yous can get ready

Lucy and Jason go and leave to get ready for work, Lucy puts on her clothes and Jason does the same but with his clothes, after Lucy finishes getting ready she gets a phone call from an unknown number, so she answers  it
On the phone call:
L:hello Lucy Chen speaking
??: hi Lucy do you know who this is?
L:what do you want now la fiera?
La f: well I want you but Ik your protected but I'll see you around
L:Uhm okay I guess
La f: hope you like a few of my friends, I hear you might be going undercover soon, is that correct?
L:yeah how do you know?
La f: I know everything, I thought you knew that by now?
L:I do, well bye I've got to go to work now than
La f: okay than, remember I have eyes everywhere I see your every move.
L:okay???
Lucy hangs up and walks to the main room where she sees Izzy, Jason and Tim eating breakfast. So Lucy grabs her plate and starts eating it
I:mummy?
L:yeah baby what's up?
I:can I come to work with you today?
L:I can see I don't know if you can, I'll have to call my boss to ask
I:okay can you call him pweaseee mummyyy.
L:sure baby
Lucy gets out her ohone and calls her boss, sargent grey
The phone call:
G:hey Lucy what can I do for you?
L:can Izzy come to work with me today?she really wants to come and won't stop asking
G:yeah sure, your working at your desk today anyways, we've got a few cases for you to do and for you to go over your file for the undercover work too
L:okay that's so much grey
G:that's all good Lucy see you later.
L:yep see you later.
They hang up and Lucy turns to Izzy.
I:can I come mum, what did he say? Tell me please
L:he said you can come to work with me today since I'm working at my desk
I:YAYYYYY
L:Come on get changed so you can come to work with me
I:okay mummyyyy!!
Izzy leaves to get changed
Ja:so she's going with you today to work?
L:yep, I asked grey if she could and he said yes since I'm at my desk today doing a case and going over my file for my undercover work soon, i don't know where I'm doing it tho or who my target is so I'll see when it happens, I'll make sure I keep in contact with you tho so I can give you updates to.
Ja:yep sounds good to me
T:looks like I won't have somebody to ride with for a few days or weeks than
L:the uc will only last a couple of days I bet. Izzy are you almost finished?
I:uhh not really, I'm kinda stuck

Lucy goes to Izzy's room and helps her get changed she than finishes her breakfast, they than put in there shoes and head out the door Lucy and Izzy are in 1 car tim is in his and Jason is in his, they all head to work, Lucy and Izzy arrive at the station, they than walk into the station.
In the station:
L:Izzy I need to get changed come with me
I:okay mummy
They head to the locker room so Lucy can get changed into her detective  work clothes, after she got changed she heads to her desk. When they sit down that's when Angela walks over.
A:who's this with you today Lucy?
L:this is Izzy
A: how old is she
I:I'm this many (she holds up 6 fingers)
A:wow your a big girl
I:yeah I am she says flexing her muscles which cause Lucy and Angela to laugh
L:Izzy did you wanna see if you can help me on this case
I:yes please mummy

L:probs not but she's solved a case with me before when I was stuck on it, she basically solved it, she's smart for her age she'd make a great detective
