Food had been placed out which had Luffy stuffing his face first, as the rest followed after setting up a low table that they were all sitting at, with Franky sitting on the bench above them. "The truth is, Hachi had planned to come and guide us across the ocean floor. But I heard he suffered major injuries on Sabaody, and now he's recovering on Fishman Island. His reason is the same as the Duval's. He fought to protect the Thousand Sunny, which had been left behind on the island. About a year ago, the Navy found out where the Sunny was docked. In the fierce battle that followed, both of them were forced to retire." "If that were the case, how is it that the Sunny is still fine?" Luna had asked, since if both of them were taken out, it left her unguarded for a year and Rayleigh only came back half a year ago. "Because there was one more warrior." Franky answered her all cryptic like. "One more warrior?" Nami repeated back not knowing what he meant. However, none of them did. "The very same man who scattered us two years ago, in fact." They had all flinched hearing that. "A member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and a great man, Bartholomew Kuma. A few days ago, when I arrived at the sunny, I couldn't believe my eyes." Franky had began telling him that when he came to the ship, he found Kuma sitting in front of it, stabbed with swords and skin ripping off. Of course, seeing this Franky was ready to attack him, but Kuma had just left without saying anything. "The Sunny didn't have a single scratch on her. And when I spoke to Rayleigh afterwards..." it was there when they found out he was a member of the Revolutionary Army and allowed the crew to escape safely. "I'm guessing you figured it out too. He saved our lives back then." Most of the crew did find it strange that they awaken on islands unharmed and alive. "And after we vanished from the stand, Kuma visited Rayleigh and said..." That didn't much time for him left, at least as a human. "I don't know what they were holding over him, but you allow the Navy to experiment on his body, and they slowly turned him into a cyborg. Shortly before the Great War, he agreed to undergo a modification that would remove his personality completely." Luna looked down at the food in front, because she knew exactly what it was that caused Kuma to become like that. "But there's no way he could've known what we'd do after we were scattered! And yet he waited for us by the ship? Even though he'd lost his personality?!" Chopper seemed to be having a hard time understanding it all. "It seemed that while he was with the surgeon, Dr Vegapunk, he got a promise that a certain mission would be programmed into him. Guard the ship until a member of the Straw Hat Pirates returns. So, for two years he's been waiting for us. Despite being a human weapon without memories, he's been obeying the orders from his past self." It really was a lot to take in for most of the crew as they sat in silence for a moment. "His methods are completely messed up. Why would he go that far for us?" Zoro had been the first to speak up, asking that question. "Would you know." Usopp had turned to Luna asking her. "Why would you be asking me?" Although, the truth of the matter, it had been her that asked the man to scattered them. "It could have to do with Luffy though. Or more like Dragon, since he is the boss of the Revolutionary Army." She had lied to the others. "I don't really know much about my dad. But I guess that bear like guy was a good guy after all." Luffy was saying, his mouth stuffed with meat. "Well, the fact remains that... he was the one who allowed us to survive these two years and make them worthwhile. Though by now, there is no way for us to ask him why he did what he did. Just keep this facts stored in your hearts... this crew is indebted to Bartholomew Kuma. But even if we meet him again, Kuma has become nothing more than a heartless human weapon. That is all." And with that all being said, Franky came to an end. "I'm grateful to him, but this raises a lot of questions. I hope we will be able to find out Kuma's true intentions one-day." That was something many of them had wanted to do. Not including Luna since she already knew part of it. "We're in his debt?" Sanji seemed to have regained consciousness. "Oh, Sanji, you're awake?" Chopper was by his side then. "Have a lunch box! It's from the Island of Women!" Luffy held out a lunchbox to him all pleased. "The Island of Women... why should I be grateful to Kuma? Do you have any idea where I've been for two years!?" Sanji was begging to lose it. "What kind of training did you do on that or woman island of dreams, Luffy!?" "Now, now, now, Sanji. I don't know what kind of hardships you have been through... but, for now, let us enjoy our voyage. Shall we sing together?" Brook was trying to change to topic. "Don't try to comfort me! You're making me feel pathetic!" "Hardships, huh?" All eyes had turned to Luna that ad spoken. "Trying being completely insane for over half a year." The crew were a little shocked, not at her words but the fact that this was the first time they've seen Luna actually depressed. Other then when being stroke by the Negative Hollow. "I was bounded by chains and cages made of silver. "Wait, what?" This time they were shocked at her statement and the cold dead eyes she had while thinking of those two years. She had remembered that fact, which made her go back to normal. "Yeah, that was fun."
