Tim Drake didn’t intend for things to go this way. Not at all.

What was supposed to be a routine infiltration mission had spiraled into something much more... complicated. His task was simple: seduce Ra's al Ghul just enough to get the information Batman needed about the League of Assassins' latest plans. Tim, ever the strategist, had agreed to go undercover. He had the charm, the wit, and—if he said so himself—a certain allure that could catch even the Demon’s Head off-guard.

But the problem? Ra's al Ghul was not like the other targets he’d seduced before.

Tim had started off slow, appearing at Ra’s side as a “willing” pawn in their game of power. He played the role well—calculated, yet with just enough vulnerability to keep Ra’s intrigued. It was supposed to be a temporary distraction, a way to get close enough to gather intel and slip away.

Yet, somehow, things had gone horribly wrong.

---

Tim had never seen Ra’s al Ghul smile so often. The man, who was normally a portrait of control and calculation, had begun to linger near Tim more frequently than expected. It started with little things: conversations that should’ve ended but didn’t, Ra’s subtly drawing closer during strategy meetings, and gifts that began to appear in Tim’s quarters—fine silk robes, rare books, and even a sword that Ra’s claimed was fit for a warrior like him.

At first, Tim thought it was part of Ra’s manipulation—an attempt to lure him deeper into the League's inner circle. But the intensity of Ra’s gaze, the way his green eyes lingered on Tim longer than they should, told a different story. A much more dangerous one.

He’d miscalculated.

“Beloved,” Ra’s voice was smooth as ever, filled with a kind of affection Tim hadn’t anticipated. He stood by the expansive balcony, watching as the moonlight bathed the Lazarus Pits below. “You continue to surprise me.”

Tim stiffened at the term of endearment. Ra’s had started calling him that over the past week, and no amount of cool deflection on Tim’s part seemed to dissuade him.

“I aim to please,” Tim replied, keeping his tone light as he tried to steer the conversation toward the mission. “Though I’m not sure I deserve the title.”

Ra’s turned to him, that unsettling intensity in his eyes again. “You underestimate yourself, Timothy. You’ve become far more than just an ally to me. There’s a strength in you that even your mentor does not see.”

Tim swallowed hard. This was not how it was supposed to go. He had to maintain control of the situation, get the intel, and leave before this got too far out of hand. But Ra’s was relentless, his obsession growing with each passing day.

“I appreciate the sentiment,” Tim said, trying to keep his cool. “But I’m hardly the person you think I am.”

Ra’s moved closer, his presence almost overwhelming. “Oh, but you are. You possess a mind that rivals even the greatest strategists I’ve ever known. A beauty in your deception, in the way you move through this world.”

Tim’s heart rate spiked as Ra’s lifted his hand, gently brushing a lock of hair from Tim’s face. The touch was soft, reverent even, and it sent a shiver down Tim’s spine.

“I have lived for centuries,” Ra’s continued, his voice low. “I have seen the rise and fall of empires. I have encountered men and women of unparalleled power, but none have intrigued me as much as you.”

Tim’s mind raced. This was getting dangerous—Ra’s obsession with him wasn’t just professional anymore. The mission had gone far beyond seduction for information. Ra’s was becoming genuinely fixated.

“I’m flattered,” Tim replied, stepping back slightly to create some distance, his pulse quickening. He needed to regain control of this. “But I’m sure you have more important things to focus on. The League’s plans, for example.”

Ra’s chuckled, a soft, almost affectionate sound. “You are important, Timothy. Far more important than you realize. You see, I have chosen you.”

Tim’s stomach dropped. “Chosen me for what, exactly?”

Ra’s eyes gleamed with something Tim recognized all too well—possession. “To rule by my side, as my heir. The Lazarus Pits can grant you immortality. You and I, together, could shape the future. You are destined for greatness, Timothy.”

This was bad. Really bad.

Tim forced a smile, trying to buy himself some time. “That’s... quite the offer. But I’m not sure I’m cut out for world domination.”

Ra’s took another step forward, closing the distance between them again. “You think too small, beloved. The world is in need of leaders like us—those with vision, with the strength to do what must be done. With you by my side, we could accomplish things that your Batman could never dream of.”

Tim’s mind raced. He couldn’t let this go on any longer. He had to get the information and leave—fast. But Ra’s was watching him closely, his obsession palpable.

“You don’t have to decide right away,” Ra’s said, his voice dropping to a whisper as his hand gently touched Tim’s shoulder. “Take time to consider. But know this: I will wait for you. However long it takes.”

Tim felt trapped under the weight of Ra’s attention, his heart pounding in his chest. This was more than he’d bargained for. He’d expected to seduce Ra’s enough to get what he needed—not to become the target of the Demon’s obsession.

“I’ll... think about it,” Tim replied, his voice steadier than he felt.

Ra’s gave a small, approving smile. “Good. Take your time, beloved. But don’t take too long.”

Tim nodded, keeping his expression neutral, but internally, he was screaming for an exit. As soon as Ra’s left him alone, he’d need to contact Bruce and figure out how to untangle himself from this mess.

But even as Ra’s turned away, Tim couldn’t shake the feeling that things had shifted permanently. Ra’s al Ghul wasn’t just interested in him anymore—he was fixated. And now, Tim was caught in a dangerous game of obsession and power, one he wasn’t sure he could escape from unscathed.

As Ra’s disappeared into the shadows, Tim let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding, muttering to himself, “I really screwed this one up...”
