Y/N listened to the annoying fucking birds. They woke her up maybe a few minutes ago, her back was pressed against Carl. Except last night they were back to back but now Carls heavy arm was thrown over her, granted they were still back to back but he had shifted sometime in the night. When she woke up she had her arm loosely holding his. Now she laid with her eyes open and her face, ears, and neck were burning with a blush. Everyone that had been on guard last night had probably seen them!

Y/N had enough of this and slowly lifted his lean arm off her waist. Luckily the sun hadn't made its appearance yet so her movements were slightly hidden. She was able to sit up and gently put his arm back on his side. She got up and she didn't have to be too quiet since the birds were so damn loud. Y/N started stepping around everyone, there were a few people who were up and walking the perimeter but most everyone was asleep.

Y/N walked further into the trees so she couldn't see a single person, then she checked around again to make sure no one was around. She then undid her belt and pulled her pants down, as she went pee she heard rustling in the bushes. Her head snapped up, the familiar sounds of the Dead reached her. She relaxed and finished her business, judging by the sound there was only one and it was moving slowly. Y/N snuck around the bush and in front of the dead body. It started to walk around her and towards the sounds of Judith fussing, Y/N palmed her knife and with a quick blow to the head she ended it. The side of her hand touched the things face where the knife was buried in its eye. She made sure to push the thing so it would fall back and not on her. She just got these clothes.

"It didn't attack you," Y/N looked up not surprised to see Bob. Y/N stared at him waiting for him to make the next move. He just stared right back. "I'm going to figure you out, Smith."

"What are you even talking about," Y/N cleaned her knife on the clothes of the dead. She then wiped it on her own jeans before standing up. Purposefully not looking at Bob.

"I'm not going to tell anyone," he shifted on his feet watching Y/N. "I don't want to fight with you, we don't have enough people in the world to find an enemy in everyone."

Y/N looked up at him and sheathed her knife. "You don't trust me. In this world, anyone you can't trust is an enemy."

"That's a very black and white statement," Bob pulled some pecans out of his pocket and offered her some. Y/N took them and they started slowly walking back to camp. "You are not my enemy, you are just a stranger who doesn't make sense."

"Isn't that the same thing," Y/N popped a few bitter pecans into her mouth and the rest in her pocket.

Bob laughed. "I think there is a big difference, and that difference saves lives."

"No," Y/N shook her head. "While you spend the time figuring out wether someone is an enemy or just a stranger they're already shooting you in the face. The world is black and white because if you look in the grey area you die."

"The world is not black and white," Bob stopped walking as they could hear the others talking now. "Ten years ago the dead stayed dead now they wander around and eat people. The Walkers are proof that the "grey area" is where you should be looking."

Y/N didn't know what to say so she just looked at him over her shoulder as she went into the group. She couldn't really sit or stand next to anyone. She wasn't close to anybody there so she awkwardly made her way to the other side of the group. Y/N made it to the edge of the group and turned around to watch Bob. He had gone to Sasha who was packing up what ever meager supplies they had.

"Alright guys lets head out," Ricks voice was slightly louder than the others so everyone could hear him. "We want to be far away from here in case Terminus tries to come after us."
