Beomgyu felt the people staring at him as he walked over the parking lot.
They were too far away to recognize him, but his blonde hair and his bright clothes were enough to gain their attention.
It was unusual - for this area of the city, but especially in front of the headquarters of MOA Jewelry.

He ignored the cars honking at him as they tried to get in or out of their parking space and as he walked over the small street between parking lot and entrance door.
It was necessary for him to gain attention and it was necessary that the people would recognize him.

Beomgyu stopped in front of the big revolving glass doors, reading the company's name printed onto them.
That this company was created by a man that was now in jail because he was a mafia boss, didn't seem to bother any of the people that worked here.
All of them entered and left just the way they always did.

He glanced at the security guards on the side of the building.
They exchanged gazes, as if they couldn't believe their eyes.
If their places had been reversed, Beomgyu would act the same.
A wanted criminal showing up at his former workplace?
That seemed unrealistic.

Yet here he was.
Beomgyu reached for the gun he had hidden under his shirt and tucked into the waistband of his jeans.
The person he was searching for, was probably already here so all Beomgyu needed to do before meeting him, was draw attention to himself.

He let his hand with the gun fall to his side again and watched as the eyes of the security guards got big.
„HEY!"
Beomgyu turned his head to the one to his right as he walked up to him.
But Beomgyu didn't feel like talking.
He just lifted his arm and pointed the gun at him.

The man stopped immediately and held his hands up next to his head and when the other security guard approached him as well, he just did the same to him.
He didn't shoot.
He didn't needed to.
They were already scared enough of being his target.

„I just need to get inside. Nobody will get hurt."
They took a few steps aside and Beomgyu walked through the door, entering the gigantic and expensive looking hallway.
He remembered how Kai had asked him if a chandelier would be too much and Beomgyu had nodded, saying he should just go for normals lamps. Yet, he looked up at the three big chandeliers hanging on the ceiling, lighting up the hallway.

The light was reflecting on the marble floor and on the high walls equipped with big screens displaying their newest jewelry.
On the opposite side of it, was the reception.
The people behind it were working on their computers or talking to other members of the company.
All the other people just crisscrossed the floor, looking at their phones or making a call.
Nobody had noticed him yet.

Beomgyu stared at the chandelier hanging in the middle of the room, making sure nobody was walking right underneath it as he lifted the gun again and pulled the trigger not even a second later.
The loud bang echoed through the hallway and as the chandelier crashed onto the marble tiles, screams filled up the room and the heads turned around to him.

The people formed small groups, trying to keep themselves safe.
The employees behind the reception had stood up from their chairs to take a few steps back.
Yet, the people started whispering.
It didn't matter that they were scared to death, he still could hear his name out of their mouths.

Beomgyu let his eyes roam over the people.
Nobody was on their phone anymore.
Everyone had put it down and stared at him.
Most of the eyes he looked into were filled with fear, but every now and then he could see some confusion flickering in them.

As he put one foot in front of the other, the people stepped aside, making him some space.
He stopped right at the reception and the employees behind it just tried to get away from him even more.
„I need you to call the police."
Beomgyu looked at a woman with a ponytail and their usual work uniform, consisting of a wine red jacket, a white blouse and a wine red skirt going down to her knees.
On her jacket was a golden name tag with her name engraved in it.
