#### ***Jareth's POV***
She was beginning to crack.
I could see it in the way she moved, the way her eyes darted around as if searching for something—anything—to anchor herself to. The Labyrinth was working its magic, slowly unraveling the threads of her resistance.
But there was still something holding her back, some stubborn piece of her that refused to give in. It was infuri
ating. And fascinating.
Y/N was different from the others. She hadn't broken as easily as I had expected. But that only made the game more interesting. I had all the time in the world, after all. And I was patient.
The path ahead of us shifted suddenly, the stones rippling as if they were alive. Y/N stopped in her tracks, her eyes wide with shock.
"What the—?"
I smiled, watching her reaction. "The Labyrinth is always changing. It's never the same twice."
She looked at me, her expression a mix of fear and frustration. "How am I supposed to navigate this place if it keeps moving?"
"You're not," I said simply. "That's the point."
She glared at me, clearly not amused by my answer. But there was nothing she could do. The Labyrinth had its own rules, its own logic. And she was trapped in it, just like everyone else who had come before her.
But unlike the others, Y/N had potential. She was clever, resourceful. And there was a fire inside her that intrigued me.
Perhaps, in time, she would come to understand the true nature of the Labyrinth. And when that time came, she would realize that escaping wasn't the only option.
