"Is he always like this?"

The youngest pony asked himself slowly, but then looked down at the ground, convinced.

"Of course he's always like this."

He mentally rolled his eyes as he found himself going deeper into his mind. Even so, his goal remained the same.

Dash P.O.V

Two months have passed since the happiest day of my life. I never thought everything would be 20% better after the wedding. Because it really was splendid.

Or 20% better.

I saw Spity approaching our team at the Academy. She looked happy, something impossible to see on a Monday morning.

When that happens, you can already expect a bomb.

- Good morning everyone - She said with a small smile - Today I have some big news to tell you - It was to be expected. - Is it good or bad? - Fire Streak suddenly asked. Spity hesitated a little. - What do you think, idiot?

Fire flinches at our captain's mocking tone and returns to her seat, which she shouldn't have left.

Spity smiles and opens her mouth to say something, but is quickly cut off when we hear footsteps coming towards us.

- Mrs. Spitfire? - A familiar pony appeared, somewhat confused - Is this where I should stay?

We all looked at our captain, waiting for answers. I saw her blushing like never before.

In response, she just nods her head to the pony, who soon came and sat next to us. Spity composed herself and looked at us with apparent joy in her eyes.

- I present to you our newest member - She points to the pony - Wave Chill!

Oh.

He is a well-behaved young man, with a deep-sea blue mane, slightly lighter blue skin and very dark blue eyes.

We all widened our eyes until other, thinner footsteps began to fill our room. A humble and courageous-looking pony calmly enters.

We looked at Spitfire. Until then, we knew there was one vacancy, but two?

Spitfire laughed lightly when she noticed our confusion as the pony entered last. She smiled, apparently nervous. She looks a lot like Spity, with yellow skin, a fiery orange mane and purple eyes.

- And I present to you our newest member, Blaze! - The mare smiled.

- Welcome! - Soar nudged Blaze and gave Wave a hug - I missed you, bro.

The team was welcoming them when suddenly a memory flashed in my mind.

- Wait, Spitfire - I whispered to her - This isn't that boy you-

I fell silent when I saw her red face. I gave a little giggle and winked at her in an attempt to tease her. She scowled, making me laugh even more. Poor thing...

Now I understand the second vacancy.  She would find a way to get him on the team anyway. What wouldn't a pony do for love?

Lightning P.O.V

- Holy shit - Quibble cursed as he stuck the small piece of glass in his hoof while trying to hit the wall. I turned my face in the opposite direction and laughed. It's not my fault that this was funny - What are you laughing at?! - He shouted, falling to the ground from laughing so hard. - "It's not my fault that this was funny" - I repeated smiling and he rolled his eyes.
