Inside Out 2 OneShots

Days have passed and Anxiety were distancing herself from Sadness and her offspring. She didn't want to harm them. Sadness and their offspring noticed. 

"Mom, is daddy okay? He's been absent from us for several days" Ovi said.

Sadness wasn't sure what to answer as she knew there was something wrong with Anxiety. But she didn't want her and Anxietys offspring to freak out. "To be honest I don't know anymore... just give him some more time...." She replied. Anxiety Jr, Breakdown, and Ovi didn't want that reply. But they were nervous to know the truth at the same time. Some more days past and Anxiety was still in her bedroom. She was laying in her bed trying hard not to get into a panic attack. But that word wouldn't get out of her conscience. "Scared..." She fell asleep as she found herself in pitch black darkness. Then these voices started to talk all at once. Voices saying "Your just a Monster...."

          "No one will ever trust you..."

"You'll only destroy what you love...."

                           "You're nothing...."

"Stop! Please stop!!!" Anxiety yelled out panicking. She covered her ears trying to block out the voices. But it didn't work as the voices overlapped. Tears rolled down her eyes. Then she felt herself transforming. She tried to fight back as she got on her hands and knees, but her panicking only made it worse. Her eyes started to glow jade. Her teeth got a little pointy. Her legs and arms started to grow. Her hair grew longer. And the end of her fingers got a little pointy as well. She then let out a distorted roar. (Anxiety woke up as he roared.) She looked around her surroundings as if she didn't know where she was. She got off her broken bed as she wasn't the same height and her weight was heavier. She didn't even realize how big she was though. She hovered over the shattered mirror only to realize her reflection. She gasped snapping out of her thought to be dream episode. "Oh my...no...no...." She took a good long look at herself. It was a horrible monster in the mirror... This had to be a dream still....it had to be.... It wasn't...She screamed a bit which sounded distorted. She started to panic. She threw her body all over the place as she didn't realize she was bigger than the size of her bedroom. She hit her head against the ceiling and fell onto the floor with a loud thud. "No no this isn't real, this isn't real!!!" 

Sadness was sitting on the couch in Headquarters along with her and Anxietys offspring. She decided to go check on Anxiety as her absence were far too long. She told Anxiety Jr, Ovi, and Breakdown to stay on the couch. She walked over to Anxietys bedroom door and knocked on it. "Honey are you alright?" 

Anxiety froze and looked up from looking at her reflection. The voice was familiar. No way she would reveal herself to Sadness or her offspring or any of the emotions...She had to think of something quick. She didn't want to reply because her voice was creepy and distorted. Sadness went on in only to see a shattered mirror on the floor and Anxietys bed half broken. Her ceiling had a little damage as well. "Oh... Anxy are you alright?" Sadness looked around. Anxiety didn't reply as she watched Sadness from under her broken bed. Though it was hard for her to hide completely under because she was big. Sadness looked under the bed like last time. She saw a pair of glowing jade eyes. They looked feral..."Anxy is that you?" Anxiety didn't reply but a little flashback of her nightmare kicked in. She made a distorted groan as she tried to not get in her episode. Sadness was shocked to hear that unfamiliar sound. "Anxiety?...." No response but Anxiety continued to groan. 

"Anxiety it's okay I'm not mad at you or anything. I just really want to know what's going on..."

Anxiety couldn't take the pressure anymore. She couldn't hide like this forever. She slowly crawled out from under the bed. Sadness expected to see a normal size Anxiety but she gasped on what she was seeing. It was Anxiety but bigger. Her arms and legs were longer. Her jade eyes were glowing. Her teeth and the end of her fingers were pointy. And her hair was more longer, sticking up. Sadness didn't know what to say as she continued to look at Anxiety in a bit of shock. Anxiety looked at her all worried but she looked feral while doing so. "Anxiety...what...happened..."

Unfortunately Anxiety wasn't completely out of nightmare flashback as she roars distorted. Unexpected by this Sadness backs away a little. She didn't want to try and treat Anxiety like a monster but her appearance and behavior triggered her response. Sadness sighed calmly. "It's alright... you're okay..."

Anxiety growled a bit as she crawled closer to Sadness. Sadness started to worry not knowing what Anxiety would do to her. Would Anxiety really harm her this time? Sadness was about to get up and run but at the same time Anxiety lounged at her and pinned her to the ground. She looked deep into Sadness's blue eyes all feral and numb. Anxietys face went closer to Sadness's. She continued growling. Sadness looked at Anxiety trying to show her mercy and care. "Anxiety it's okay.... you're not a monster..." Without hesitation she slowly put her hand against Anxietys left cheek. Anxiety felt the affection a little as her feral look changed into sorrow and worry. She made a distorted whimper. "Shhh, it's okay... it's okay... your safe...." Sadness said calmly as she rubbed against the orange emotions cheek petting her basically. Anxiety growled in comfort feeling Sadness's affection. After a few minutes of showing affection Anxiety slowly got off of Sadness, releasing her. Sadness got up. Anxiety looked at Sadness in guilt. "It's okay Anxiety" Sadness said.

Their offspring came in."Daddy!" They all said at once as they ran in unison and gave their dad a hug regardless of Anxiety not looking like herself. The second nightmare started to flashback in Anxietys mind as she started breathing hardly. She was about to go into panic. But Sadness joined in on the hug hoping that it would snap her out and letting her know everything's okay. Anxiety was able to get out of her episode though as she realized that her family was all in one piece and safe. "We've been worried about you dad" Breakdown said as she still continued to hug Anxiety. 

"Yeah, we thought you left" Ovi added in.

Anxiety smiled, glad that her offspring still love her regardless of her looking like a monster. 

"Oh...I love you guys too..." She said. Her voice was still a little distorted but not completely. Anxietys offspring looked at her for a few minutes. 

"You look cool all big" Anxiety Jr compliments. 

"Umm thanks?" 

"How did you even get like this?" Breakdown asked.

"Good question, how did you?" Sadness asked.

"Well...to be honest awhile back I started to get nightmares about when I pushed your mom to the ground. Then in my nightmare I turned into this horrible monster, which you're seeing right now. I went after your mom and tried to attack her but I woke up. Then I had the same dream but I went after you 3 instead....I....I feel horrible having such a dream like that....I didn't want to tell you because I'm afraid you guys don't want to be around me anymore... I'm afraid you'd see me as a.... monster...." A little tear rolled down Anxietys eye. Sadness and her and Anxietys offspring felt bad.

"Oh sweetie... we'll still love you. Besides it was just a nightmare you weren't really going to turn into a monster.... wait... scratch that I guess you did but you didn't attack us. You were just holding up your feelings to the point where it turned you into this." Sadness said. Anxiety didn't reply but smiled. All four emotions gave Anxiety a hug again. This time Anxiety embraced the hug. After a few seconds, before she knew it,  Anxiety slowly transformed into her old self. Anxiety noticed as everything around didn't seem little. The family continued to hug. After that day Anxiety never had any more episodes (they had to do with her almost harming Sadness at least).
