Third Person's POV:

Kian held Crystal tightly as she thrashed in her sleep, her body trembling as she cried out.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, love... I had to do this. You can't leave me, Crystal... I won't let you go. Just one more time, and it will all be over, I promise. I'll keep you safe..." Kian whispered, tears falling as he held her close.

Lets start from here....

Crystal's POV:

I quickly closed my eyes when the sudden rays of the sun hit them and then slowly tried to open them again.

Once open, my hand went toward my waist, only to find Kian's hand resting there. He looked as handsome as ever.

I gently moved his hand aside and walked into the bathroom to freshen up. I took a quick, peaceful bath and closed my eyes, but suddenly, a sharp pain hit the side of my head. I rubbed the spot quickly, dressed myself, and walked out.

Kian was sitting on the bed, his eyes filled with concern as he stared at me.

"What happened, Birdy?" he asked.

"Headache, I think," I replied. He hummed in response before spreading his arms wide like a child asking for a hug.

I shook my head and said, "I have to cook, hubby."

He pouted, got off the bed, and walked over to me. Wrapping his arms around my waist, he rested his chin on my shoulder, taking deep breaths.

"I love you," he whispered.

I hummed softly, running my fingers through his hair.

My gaze wandered toward the window, and I noticed flower petals scattered along the garden path.

"What's this, hubby?" I asked.

He broke the hug and met my eyes before turning to look where I was pointing.

"Just a surprise for you, Birdy," he said, his dominant stare making my cheeks flush. I quickly lowered my head, biting my lip, and nestled deeper into his arms.

Suddenly, he picked me up in a koala hold, and I instinctively wrapped my arms around his neck for support.

"Birdy..." he whispered in my ear.

I hummed in response.

"You're pregnant," he said.

I froze in place. It was something I already knew, yet every time he said it, it felt brand new.

"We're going to have a baby, Birdy," he said again.

I hummed, resting my head on his chest.

"What do you want?" I asked softly.

"A girl, just like you," he answered, planting a kiss on the crown of my head. I smiled at his answer, but a pout quickly formed on my lips.

"But I want a boy first, so he can protect her," I said.

Kian gently cupped the back of my head, pulling my face in front of his.

"As long as I'm alive, no one can harm my family, Birdy. No one can harm you," he said sternly.

I nodded.

As we reached the garden, I saw a beautifully arranged white table. A flash of something familiar crossed my mind, as if I'd seen it before.
