I laid on the couch watching adventure time . Tezzariah came into the living room snatching the remote off the arm of the chair .
I just looked at her laughing .

She turned the tv off before I could say anything . She sat down on the arm of the couch with her hands in her lap staring at me .

Not you think everything peaches and cream , cookies and cream around hea . What was wrong with you this morning lil girl ?
I shook my head sitting up staring at her rubbing my head . Kane went to work today . I won't be seeing her until this evening on her break .

Last night kane and I had a moment . It really made me self reflect back on something that happened in my past with Mazzi that should've never happened .
She nodded standing up moving my leg . Sitting down beside me , I put a pillow on her lap putting my legs on top of the pillow in her lap .

I know I know tez spare me the lecture . It's just this healing process got me going for a loop . I feel freer than I ever have now . It's like without the drama everybody , everything is calm around me even kane and you .
I said shaking my head playing with my bracelet looking at her .

Hmm , why is that a bad thing that everything so calm around you Cheyenne ?
She asked rubbing her ankle , leaning back on the couch chewing on the side of her cheek .

Why tuh I mean think about it tez . When have you ever known for my life to be so calm and welcoming.
She nodded , crossing her arms across her chest . Before placing the remote on my leg .

True but you in a new era of healing Babygirl . I mean if it's bothering you so much , you gotta be doing something right . Right ?

I mean I don't know Tezzariah , I don't wanna get to comfortable with anything right now .
She chuckled shaking her head .

You so damn stubborn Cheyenne. You deserve to be happy . Stop using your past as an excuse to dictate . What you having going on for yourself right now .

We not worried about the past , the past gone always be the past . You gone always have yo moment or times . Where you not fucking with me or kane even the world for that matter . Take back what happened in yo past put that shit into motion do something positive sho- I'm not saying forget about your past either Cheyenne . I'm saying forgive for you set boundaries for yourself and others .

After my last relationship all I could do was set boundaries plus take mental note . Up until 12 months ago , 2months fresh out , when I Met a female name Kallie coolest female you'll ever met down to earth very understanding . But I never knew that cause at the time , I was always pushing her away not giving her the time of day .

I mean , I would causally talk to her have drinks with her invite her over to my place . We'd talk mostly her , she'd talk about her life . I'd sit there listening never once chiming in .

One night we both accidentally . When to sleep together Cheyenne . She wasn't supposed to stay over but it happened no big deal right . The next morning I woke up , she was behind me with her arms wrapped around me . Knowing me I needed that shit , I cried in that girl damn arm , she held me not once judging me .
