"Aright I need all this shit cleared out ! I only want the table , the 2 chairs & the screen in here ! It's only for us , all that other shit can go." I'm shouting, running around like mad tryna get this shit taken care of before my baby get off work.

She got me messed up thinking it's whatever over here when I really love tf outta her. " I need the balloons , the roses , that big ass banner with her name.." is that too much ? I thought to myself " hell nah that ain't too much! She need all that shit" I say out loud. I'm goin all out .

I know this material shit ain't nothing fr but it'll paint a better picture than my words ever could. I got less than 2 hours to get all this together before she get off & get to callin. I ain't tryna stall one minute , " LETS WRAP THIS SHIT UP! "

2 hours later:

" see you guys later " I say waving goodnight to my coworkers & reaching for my keys. I click the unlock button on the key fob but I don't hear the usual sound it makes. Then I look up & see my car is not where I left it. Parked directly behind where my car used to be was an all black Bentley truck with tinted windows.

"Well that doesn't look safe. " I say under my breath. Just as I was about to head back into my job, I hear a familiar voice. Lord It's Big D. "Hey Lolo where you going?" He shouted " you know you scared the shit out of me!? I thought you were a kidnapper or something" I exclaimed.

He giggled "nah it's nothing like that, boss man just asked me to pick you up on account of you not having a car right now" he said " & where the hell is my car, D?" I retorted. "I couldn't even tell you." He replied with the straightest of faces.

I never could tell if he was lying or not. But for Chris? Of course he's lying. "You getting in or not?" He asked "I might as well since my car gone" Big D opened my door & I hopped in. I'm so ready to get home. For what reason would this man take my car ? & where the hell is D taking me ?

After about 20 minutes we pull up to this big pretty white house. Not as nice as Chris's but still beautiful. Big D gets out & opens my door. "Whose house is this ?" I ask. "Woman , just get out " D replied impatiently. "Oop, D don't get loud with me ok ." I say rolling my eyes & stepping out of the car.

He hands me a paper that says 'Seek & You Shall Find 💗' with a list numbered 1-5:
A picture
An object
A place
A scent
A moment.

"Ok, so wha-" "GIRL GET TO SEEKING" Big D yells as he drives away. Man what? Idk nothing about this house or what the hell this list even means . What picture? What object ? wtf?? So I just start heading for the front entrance of the house .

Once I made my way up the first flight of stairs i see a path lined with lit torches on both sides & down the middle are black balloons floating with different things attached to each string with red bows.

I walk up to the first balloon, A Picture: our first chill night together ❤️‍🔥 Omg I didn't even know he had a picture of this . This wasn't our first meeting or our first date . This was our first time with no obligations , no responsibilities. Just me , him, pjs , & time . How the hell did he take this without me knowing ?

As I continue down the path & collect each balloon , I check off each number on the list & with each object I can feel the tears pushing behind my eyes. 2. An object : a tiny set of keys with a note that said 'I love you' with a winky face.

Hm? Ok. 3. A place: another photo. This time of me standing in the doorway of our villa facing the water when he took me to Brazil.

Our first trip out of the country together ! I don't know he had this either .. when did this man become the paparazzi?? I continue down the pathway , almost to the threshold of the house when I see the 4th balloon with the next item on the list .

4. A scent. This one was kind of hard to make out because it was a scent sample card & I couldn't place the smell until it hit me. The oil diffuser I got him that he hated but he never told me & when he tried to sneak & throw it away, somehow he spilled it all over the couch & we couldn't get the smell out for weeks ! This made me giggle . This was forever ago it seemed like now . How does he even remember this? Any of this .. as I enter the house , looking for the last thing on the list ,

I step into the most beautiful setup I've ever seen in my life . Pictures of us were hanging EVERYWHERE . From the literal beginning of us meeting until now. Bouquets of roses & daisies filled the room , it almost looked like a flower field . In the middle, a table & 2 chairs set up with my favorite foods.

Literally all of them! Candles & tea lights lit up the space & on a giant screen was a portrait of me, in a style I knew only Chris could've done & the number 5. "This moment is for you , mamas" I turn around to see Chris. Blonde hair, fresh cut, j's , sweats & a t shirt that said "Lauren's #1 Fan" .

So simple yet he still looks good asf . "What is all this, Maurice?" I ask in awe. "Grand gestures & music are the easiest ways for me to express how I feel & you of all people need to know how I feel about you. I can't have you walking around here thinking you're just playing a role when that's far from the case! I wrote a new verse to your favorite song for you so just listen ok?" Then I hear 'Proof' blaring from all around the house.

This my shit but this ain't a love song . "Chris.." "JUST listen" he said . He grabbed my hands & looked deep into my eyes & started to sing

I don't even know if he wrote more cause I'm boohooing , I mean sobbing so he stops singing to come hold me . "Chrisss , you really didn't have to do all of this" I say in between sniffles. " yes I did! Ima make you my wife one day & I knew this shit long time ago but I clearly haven't done my best with showing it so from now on you got that.

I was pissed at myself after we talked earlier cause how could I ever make you feel that way when Ik how much you rule my world. So whatever word , action, time or attention you need I got it for you . I've always been a I ain't gotta prove shit kinda nigga but not this time . Ima prove it all to you , Lo. For the rest of our lives if you let me ..." "if I let you? Of course ima let you! Where you thought you were going?" I laughed as I placed my send arms around his neck & kissed him.

This kiss was filled with so much love, so much longing. So soft & slow & HOT as our tongues danced together in a way that only we could do together. We had to come up for air & we just sat & started into each others eyes for what felt like a second & forever. "Wait what were these little keys for?" I asked remembered the object from the list. "Oh we gone need those later , haha. & you seen the note right? just wanted to tell you & show you how much I loved you first.

You know, get my baby fed & in good spirits before I make you think I hate you " he laughed , winking at me. "Am I gonna be able to walk after is my only question" I already knew the answer to that & I kinda wanted to skip dinner now .

"Definitely not but let's enjoy this dinner & this weed & this movie & each other. Then I can enjoy you " he replied, licking his lips "better not lose them keys, Lolo "
