I'm watching the day turn into night and vice versa.
I'm watching the seasons come and go.
I'm watching the changing colours of the sky as well as people.
I'm waiting for prayers to be answered.
I'm standing in the midst of the desert.
I'm running, but can't reach the horizon.
My eyes don't cry, but my heart bleeds.
Have mercy, oh God, fulfill my heart's deepest needs.
