Part 18: Beautiful

Devika woke up and scanned her surroundings. Her eyes fell on her wound. She tried to remember what happened but she couldn't. Akash entered the room and sat in front of her

" So, finally you woke up I thought you were dead" he said with a fake smile

" How can I die, without killing you, idiot" she said and went towards the mirror, she checked herself.

" What are you doing?" He asked with confusion

" How did I get this wound? Did you try to kill me last night?"

" No, I don't kill beautiful girls " he responded immediately

" What? You said I look beautiful?" She asked him

" N..no I think you mis heard me, I need to go I have important work " he practically ran away from there

" Wait, did he just call me beautiful? What's wrong with him?" She thought

Shreya: Ishita are you going out?

Ishita: Yes, do you have any problems?

Shreya: Yes, I.. I mean no . If you go out then who will prepare lunch?

Ishita: chef

Shreya: But, you are going to cook today as it's your first day

Ishita: Shreya , did you hear me saying ' yes ', morning?

Shreya: No but

Before she completed her sentence, Ishita left from there.

" Bro, what's going on" Akash asked Ekansh

" You tell me what happened? You seem to be dull. Is everything ok?" Rudraksh questioned him

" I am feeling bored and I want to go somewhere to forget this world" he said

" Take a break from work and go on a small vacation" Rudraksh suggests

" But, a part of my heart doesn't want to leave this place" he said

" Heart?" Ekansh asked with amusement and continued " I thought it's just an organ in your body I wish it doesn't develop feelings for others. "

" C'mon bro, I know believing someone makes us weak. I am just feeling
uneasy "

" Stop it guys, Ekansh he is not a kid anymore stop pressurising him " Rudraksh said and looked at Akash" I want you to handle the new project, I want you to work hard on it "

" Why me? You said I can go on a small vacation " he questioned

" Actually, for this project you have to visit Dehli. Think it has your vacation " Ekansh said and smirked

" You both are so cunning " he complained

" Not more than you " they both replied. Akash immediately left the room .

Ekansh's face turned serious and he looked at Rudraksh " Are you sure about this?" He asked

" I think I am"

Lunch

Everyone gathered at the dining hall except Ishita.

Saanvi: Shreya why are you looking so worried?

Shreya: because Ishita is not here yet and she didn't prepare lunch and I made lunch on behalf of her.

Devika: Ishita?

Shreya told them what happened last night and this morning .Saanvi is also worried about Ishita now but Devika seems to be lost in her own thoughts.

Vijayamba entered the hall " where is Ishita, Kalyani" she asked

" Mom, she is not here" Kalyani replied

" What do you mean she is not here? Is she still cooking?" Anjali asked

" Actually, her father got into an accident, she went to see him and she prepared lunch " Shreya said

" Accident? I think our daughter in laws has a special connection with the accident, isn't it Devika?" Vijayamba asked

" Even, Maheshwaris has a special connection with accident, isn't it " she replied coldly

" I think food is getting cold, let's have lunch after we can discuss all this." Ananth said and everyone started to eat

" Umm, I must say she cooked really well . Kalyani told her to meet me after coming back okay " Vijayamba said

" You really cook well Shreya " Ekansh said. Shocking Shreya. " How did you know, I cooked instead of her?" she asked

" Ishita doesn't know how to cook and remember on your birthday you prepared lunch for us " Akash said clearing the issue.

" Yes, Shreya your husband must be lucky to get a wife like you " Ruhi praised her

" Stop it Ruhi " she said

Devika's POV

Akash was busy packing his bag .
" Are you leaving this world, I mean this city?" I asked him

" I am going to Delhi, I will be back in a week" he said ignoring my first sentence

" I hope you will never return back" I said to irritate him

He stopped packing and pulled me towards him, I was startled by his actions and placed my hand on his chest to maintain distance between us.
" Don't create any problem and trap in any trouble" he said looking at me and he came very close to my ear " only I have the rights to trouble you" he whispered. " You can say this by maintaining distance between us, right?" I said and freed myself from his hold.

" Take care wifey " he Winked at me and went out , idiot. At least I can live happily for some time.

Anjali hospital

" Sir, next week Dr William visiting India. He said there is 60% chances of success in the operation" the doctor explained

" Hm , good. I need him to be recover as soon as possible. If anything goes wrong I won't spare anyone" Rudraksh warned

" Just few days" he thought
