Waking up to the sound of my alarm I notice Lando is still sleeping however I know I can't stay in bed with him as much as I want to. Dragging myself to the kitchen I make a coffee while turning on my laptop, I can't take the smile off my face at the memory of last night. Lando loves me and I love him. When this whole thing started after a chance meeting at Silverstone I never expected it to come to this. I wouldn't have expected to be in a fully committed relationship sat in his apartment in Monaco.
I won't hide the fact I've been in relationships before but none of them have made me feel the way Lando does especially when the relationship is so new. He's attentive and loving, yes some days we infuriate each other but it doesn't change the way I feel about him. When I went to Silverstone it never once crossed my mind that I'd meet someone who would become my whole world.
Logging on to my laptop I get set up for the day, I have a few meetings but thankfully they can be done through teams. I never expected my managers to agree to me coming to Monaco for a few weeks and working from here but I guess it keeps me working. I've always loved my job, like everyone I have days where I want nothing more than to escape it but for the most part I know I picked the right career for me.
"Morning baby" Lando says walking into the kitchen kissing me on the cheek as I'm working away. He's only dressed in a pair of joggers and his voice is still raspy due to just waking up but he looks good.
"Morning Lando. I didn't want to wake you when I started working" making sure I'm on mute on teams I quickly kiss Lando "what's your plan for the day?"
"I'm going for a run and then I'll do some training but other than that I'm going to wait for you finishing work"
"I'll be done around 5. My dad is in Monaco tomorrow and wants to know if we want to go out for tea with him. It's okay if you don't want to go, I'll go alone" I really want to see my dad. It's felt like ages since I got to spend time with him and I hate that.
"I'll come as long as you want me there. I don't want to intrude"
"You're not intruding. I need to get back to work but I'll let my dad know" kissing Lando I turn back to the teams meeting hoping it finishes soon so I can get on with my day.
The next day I walk into the bedroom dressed to go and meet my dad. My outfit is only simple, a long sleeved plain black jumper dress that's not too thick for the warm Monaco nights paired with Hermès flat sandals and the Hermès mini Kelly bag my dad bought for my 21st birthday.
Lando is dressed all in black, one of if not my favourite look on him. The top buttons undone and the sleeves slightly rolled up showing off the veins in his arms. I can't get enough of the veins in his hands and arms lately, the minute my eyes catch a glimpse I'm done for and all I want in these moments is his hand wrapped around the base of my throat.
