Dialing My Love

{After One Year}

"11:54! 11:54! It's too close now" a shaky whisper came out of lavanya's mouth as the chill December breeze touched her body. Her whole body felt like shivering. Rubbing her palms together, Lavanya unplugged her phone from the charging.

She charged her phone as she expected the night to be very long. Not expected, she just knew it. Just after only 6 minutes, it'll be her birthday!

She giggled and pulled her body inside of the thick blanket. She had never been excited for her birthdays. There were not much people to wish her , to celebrate or to make her feel like the day is so great.

It was always with a small house party with her mom and dad but Lavanya doesn't mind having it.

But it was something new this year, this time someone else was also waiting for her birthday. Someone else who was not her mom or her dad.

Lavanya giggled again in mind and checked the time.

" 11:56! Oh God...why is time taking so much time?" She pouted her lips angrily. She just can't wait for it to be 12 and then Anubhav's special birthday call!

She has decided to talk to him for this whole night!

" Okay i should stop checking the time again and again. When I'll not give attention to it, time will pass fast. Good idea" with that she kept the phone on aside carefully and sat quietly.

But sadly that calmness didn't even stay for two minutes. "Aaahhhh...ese kaise hoga... kya main hi call kardu? I can tell him that I couldn't wait for the wish so i called....he will understand ...he knows me" She asked herself.

( Ahhhh...how will it work like this... should I call him by my own? I can tell him that I couldn't wait for the wish so i called....he will understand....he knows me...)

She thought about it for sometime and then dropped the idea. "No no... it'll look weird...i should wait .... it's about only a few minutes" she again checked the time. It was 11:58. Still two minutes to go.

But the excitement rose louder. It was harder to sit like that now. So she laid, holding the phone.

Opening his chats, she kept on staring at their last conversation. "Only a minute to go and then his 'happy birthday to you' will be here" she could not just wait so started reading a few lines of their previous chat.

They were making her laugh and somehow made her forgot about the time. After sometime when she realised that, her eyes directly went upward towards the clock to check the time

And she saw it was 12:05.

Lavanya's mouth opened a little. He didn't call yet?

All her excitement washed away. Did he forget? Or is he busy? Umm....he must be studying and forgot to check the time...I should wait for sometime, he'll call I know...

Lavanya started a conversation with her subconscious self. She somehow made herself understand that Anubhav will call. Obviously he will. He can't forget because he is not like others. He is special.

She nodded her head and closed her eyes for sometime. Now she was no more looking at the phone, checking time. Even if she had given herself some excuses that Anubhav is busy and all but her own excitement for getting a wish from him was gone now.

She was little sad.

Some minutes passed. Lavanya was awake. Opening her eyes, she looked at the wall clock. It was 12:30. She looked at the clock blankly. Isn't he going to call?
