What if Lucy wasn't a ray of sunshine all of the time

Lucy pov
I woke up in the morning sadly and walked slowly into the kitchen to get some water.
It took me a few minutes to get there but in the end it was fine.
I guess Nyla heard me and walked into the kitchen

"Why are you up"
She asked

"Cause I'm thirsty?"
I said kinda annoyed
Nyla walked up to me and grabbed my arm and twisted until I yelped but she didn't stop and punched me in the back and kicked me to the floor

She then walked up to me and said
"Don't you EVER give me an attitude again you got that?!"
I flinched and a sob came out as I screamed yes

"Good" she said.
She kicked me one more time then went to her room
I was sobbing on the floor when Jackson walked in the door
I heard a gasp but it wasn't from Jackson it was from sturling.

"Omg Lucy your so fucking dramatic your fine"
Jackson said he then came up to me and pull me off the floor from behind and held my stomach while picking me up.
I screamed so loud it hurt my throat and fell to the floor again because Jackson let go to hold his ears.

"Lucy I didn't even do it that-"
Nyla said walking out of her room But she stopped when she saw Jackson and sturling
"Omg Lucy are u ok"
She said instead
She ran over to me and helped me to my room while Jackson and sturling went to the couch together.
I was still crying when we got to my room.

Nyla pushed me onto my bed and put a pillow on my face.

I tried to fight her off but I was to weak in that moment. I used my last breathes to try and scream but I couldn't.
Then it all went black.

                                        Sturlings pov
As me and Jackson walked in the door I saw Lucy on the floor looking absolutely broken.
I gasped and went to go help but Jackson grabbed my arm and went up to her.
I watched the whole seen unfold in shock.
Then Nyla came out and took Lucy to her room

"I don't think she's ok Jackson."
I said still in shock

"She's fine she's just dramatic"
He said back

I heard struggling and gasp from her room so I wanted to check it out.

"Hey babe I'll be right back" I said to Jackson

"Ok"
He said

I got up and walked to Lucy's room and pushed the door open a little.
I almost screamed at the sight before me.

I saw Nyla holding a pillow to Lucy face. I quickly ran to the bathroom and got my phone out

I hit the contact I could count on. Angela.

I called her and she immediately answered.

"What's wrong is Jackson ok?!"
She said immediately

I was shaking and answered hurriedly

"J-Jackson's fine but it's Lucy"
I said

"Look I don't c-"
She tried to say but cut her off

"Well you should and thats fucking mean you know what I just saw? I saw Nyla strangling Lucy she had a pillow to her face and could not breathe. And when we were walking in the door Lucy was on the floor sobbing holding her stomach. So please get over here right now."
I said

"Omg I'm on my way I'm sorry"

                                         Angela's pov
What I heard from sturling was heart breaking as he told me what happened I had tears running down my face.

How could Nyla do that?
What if Lucy's dead?
I've been so mean to her

I sped to Lucy house as fast as I could go.

When I pulled in to her apartment complex I jumped out of my car and sprinting into the building and to her apartment.

I knocked on the door 28 times before someone opened.

"Come on hurry I don't know if she's alive."
Sturling said

"What's going on"
Jackson said confused

"Well if you paid fucking attention you would know"
I snapped back. He is also at fault here for calling Lucy dramatic when she was clearly in pain.

"Woah what did I do"
He said
I was about to go over there and punched the shit out of him when sturling held me back

"Come on ang we have to go to Lucy"
Sturling said

"Omg fuck Lucy"
Jackson said then turned back to the tv

That made me rage but me and sturling went to Lucy room

The scene made me shed tears.

I saw Lucy with a swollen cheek passed out on her bed.

"Oh my god"
