In her dorm, Ana sat in her bed, exhausted after a long day of classes.

Her head ached as she was once again mobbed by tons of reporters right after she just got out of her last class.

She felt like she was in a circus act, balancing different things with her hands full, head occupied and legs trying to stay up right in a clown cycle.

Everyone watching her struggle and eventually break, with no one to even clap for her.

Not even him.

She can't exactly blame him.

If she was juggling in the ground, he was walking in a thin tight-rope, carrying a hundred pounds worth of weight.

The responsibilities of the kingdom are on his shoulders.

She didn't notice a tear rolling down her cheek until a knock echoed from her door.

Her blue eyes snapped to the wooden board, she cleared her throat, hastily wiping her cheek.

"Just a second!" She exclaimed as she rose from her bed, opening the door to see Lonnie, standing there with a smile.

"Hey Ana, I- What's wrong?" The princess asked, concerned.

"What do you mean? I'm great!" Seeing the look on Lonnie's face, she chuckled fakely. "Really, Lon... I'm just tired." She smiled, softly.

Lonnie sighed, but a smile peeked through her lips. "Want to make some cookies?"

Ana's eyes lit up as she nodded. "Why not?"

The two princesses were at the kitchens late at night, finding peace at not only the therapeutic hobby of theirs, but also in each other's presence.

They worked in silence most of the time, having to giggle and chuckle quietly as they share stories about how their week had gone.

Not one of them dared to bring up the incident earlier.

Even though they were room mates, they hardly see each other anymore, due to Ana's busy schedule.

Lonnie would wake up to see Ana's already made up bed and be back to either Ana asleep or still out.

Despite this new reality of theirs, they still found little ways to be there for each other.

Ana's eyes widened at a sudden realization of hers. "Goodness!"

Lonnie looked at her, concerned. "Is there something wro-"

Ana quickly cut her off, with a shake of her head. "No, No, it's just-" she sighed, closing her eyes.

Lonnie smiled softly at her. "You know you can tell me anything."

"Ben and I planned a picnic date tomorrow..."

The asian princess looked at her confused. "And?"

"I-I haven't even prepared a thing for it... I-I'm scared he won't show up."

"Oh, Ana..." Lonnie softly whispered, disheartened by her confession. "I'm sure he will-"

Ana shook her head firmly. "No, you can't say that. He's not even sure himself."

Lonnie stayed silent, wanting to comfort her best friend, but also making sure to let her share her worries first.

Ana bit her lip to stop them from wobbling. "It's been hard between us... ever since Ben became K-King. I know I shouldn't ask so much of him, but it's like our r-relationship is slowly falling a-apart." She whispered sadly.
