Every day was different in Elm Tree House and today was no different as the children were in the living room and they were doing their things.
Katie made her way into the living room just as Carmen left shouting for Mike and Rosie and Poppy immediately jumped up and ran to her.
"Aunt Kate!!" Rosie/Poppy squeal as she picks them up." Hiya sweet girls what are we doing?" Katie smiles at the three-year-old and two-year-old girls.
"Watching TV but Harry messing with it," Rosie pouts." Bad Harry," Poppy says in a tiny voice." I'll sort it," Katie grins making them giggle.
"Harry Jones," Katie sternly spoke and Harry stopped messing as he turned to see Katie standing there with a look." Leave the TV alone mister," Katie says as Mike appears.
"Thanks, Katie," Mike says as Harry leaves the TV alone and comes to Katie's torso for a hug." No problem, he always listens to me," Katie giggles as Lily comes and picks the girls off Katie's hips.
"Lily you can let others look after them," Katie says earning a glare in response from Lily." My sisters, not yours!" Lily yells making the girls cry." See you made them cry now!" Katie says softly soothing the girls who settled down.
"Katie, can we go read a book in your room?" Harry asked as she looked at the young boy." Yeah come on," Katie smiles as Poppy wriggles out of Lily's arms just as Rosie does." Can we come?" They plead with smiles.
"Of course can't have a reading party without the two princesses right Prince Harry?" Katie winks at them making them all giggles." Come on then," Katie says letting Harry get a piggyback ride and Poppy immediately jumps up to be on her chest.
Rosie led the way to the bedroom as Katie followed holding two young children just as Gina and Mike spotted them as they left the office." Katie! Be careful Yeah?" Gina calls out." I'm always careful!" She yells as she heads up the stairs.
Gina and Mike head back into the office to discuss potential foster parents for the Kettle sisters." So these two are coming to meet Poppy, Rosie and Lily soon?" Gina asked Mike who nodded.
"Yes and if these three can get fostered it would be a miracle and they would be able to start again. However, my concern is Lily," Mike states and Gina understood where he was going with this.
"You think if they get fostered she's not gonna ease up and allow the foster parents to parent the girls and keep control?" Gina says as Mike nods.
"So their first meeting is in two days with the Perrys and Rob and I've expressed my concerns to Rob who suggested they spend the day together and maybe Lily loosens up?" Mike says.
"Hopefully yes, if it doesn't go well maybe we need to think about separating her and the girls. As I think Lily needs to learn to be a kid again and being away from the two young girls might do just that?" Gina suggests.
