SURYAVANSHI SURNAME CHANGED TO SINGHANIA.
GUPTA SURNAME CHANGED TO RAICHAND.
**Saturday.**
"Adi," Arushi jumped into my bed. I was reading a book. For a second, I was shocked.
"What?" I asked her, closing the book. She pointed at the clock; it was 8:30.
"Bhai, we have to go to school. Did you forget?" she asked cheerfully. I really had forgotten.
"Why?" I sprang out of bed and went into the washroom to brush my teeth.
"For assigning the duties for the farewell party. You'll be late, and everyone will praise Ananya. You won't be able to be the captain. Be quick! School starts at 9:30."
I finished my bath and went for breakfast in 15 minutes.
"Fast, fast," I said hurriedly, grabbing a piece of toast with one hand and some butter with the other.
"Hey, bro, what are you doing?" Manav laughed, seeing my state.
"Can't you see we're late?" I scolded him. Manav slapped his forehead.
"We have enough time. Eat slowly," Manav said with a smile, spreading butter on my bread.
Hearing that, I relaxed and sat down. I was waiting for Arushi to come down so I could grab her like prey.
She came, bowing her head as she sat down. "School starts at 9:30, right?"
Arushi silently sat, as if she knew I was about to scold her.
"Sorry, Bhai. Actually, I want to go to Gupta Mansion to pick up Aayam and Anu," Arushi quickly said, helping me by handing over a glass of juice.
"Fine," I said, taking the glass from her.
"Guys, there's important news," Mumma suddenly said from behind us.
"Yes?" We all looked at her with questioning expressions.
"We're going on a short trip," she announced. We all looked at each other, smiling.
"Don't get too happy," she immediately added.
"Why?" Manav asked in a surprised tone.
"Because your father has invited your Bua," Mumma replied, picking up the bowls.
We looked at each other in shock. Bua is the most toxic person in our family. She always tries to insult us because we're better than her children.
"We'll go to Ananya's house," Arushi suggested. I'd rather be with that chashmish than with Bua. Gupta Mansion would be better.
"Yes, Mumma, we can do that," I agreed, and even Manav did too.
"We can't do that either," Mumma replied. Our jaws dropped in shock.
