Cale and The Shinobi

Cale knocked on the door, "You look very busy."

Kushina looked up, "Ah! Cale, you are here."

Minato beamed, "Is that tea and sweets?"

Cale smiled at the power couple, "Yup, you have been working hard. So, I brought snacks for both of you."

Minato chuckled, "Well, our kids are going to become a team."

Kushina pulled Cale to sit with them, "We are very excited."

Cale hummed, "You have decided on the teams, then?"

Minato, "Yes, starting with team one, it has a Yamanaka, Maruka and Hyuuga."

Cale nodded, "The Maruka is a merchant clan if I remember right."

Minato, "Yes, young Maruka is doing really well as a Kunoichi. Both the Hyuuga and Yamanaka are interested in having her join one of them."

Cale, "Oh ho! A little love triangle, this should be interesting. Who is their Sensei?"

Minato, "Aburame Yuzu, she became a Jounin last year and has been teaching at the Academy as a teaching assistant."

Cale, "Sounds like you have a good candidate for a Jounin teacher, that is if the team clears the Genin test."

Kushina chuckled, "Yes, that is true, this is the next group."

Cale hummed quietly as they discussed the different teams over tea and sweets he had made for the day. Over the years he had become a sort of sounding board for the Hokage though the bigger more important discussions were held with the clans. But more simple things like new teams or meeting new people was something the Hokage would talk to Cale. The red head man gave very interesting insights on the people and it was fascinating to listen to while giving Minato ideas on how to deal with them. It was hilarious watching the red head figure out the secrets with just one observation and be completely right about it.

Kakashi, "I am here, Sensei."

Minato, "Ah! Kakashi - kun, come in."

Kakashi, "Choi Han Sensei mentioned you wanted me as a Jounin Sensei for one of the teams."

Minato, "Yes, you will be a Sensei to Team - 7."

Kakashi took the folder, "Naruto - kun, Sasuke - kun and Sakura - chan."

Minato, "Yes, since the Hokage's son and his fiance are in the team. Not to forget Sakura - chan is very smart and the heiress of the merchant Haruno clan. They are high profile in their own respective fields."

Kakashi nodded, "Naruto as your son, Sasuke as the Uchiha Clan's power house and Sakura who will be inheriting half the Haruno Clan's assets."

Minato, "Yes, her younger brother is getting the other half."

Kakashi chuckled, "She's a bro - con according to Raon - kun. It should not be hard to encourage her to become a powerful Kunoichi. She would do anything for her younger sibling."

Minato laughed, "Yes, she, Naruto and Sasuke bonded over their siblings, if I remember correctly."

Kakashi, "I look forward to meeting them."

Minato smirked, "Do not tease them too much, okay?"

Kakashi gave an eye smile, "No promises there, Sensei. After all their reactions are just so adorable."

Minato shook his head as Kakashi left via shun shin, 'Now, the Akatsuki who are targeting the nine beasts. What to do with you all?'

Asuma, "Kakashi - kun, are you getting a new team this year?"
