Radio:

News anchor Gabriel Thomas: "Good morning Stoneburrow city! It is a beautiful Thursday morning, expect colder weather as well as some light snow. The police has advised people not to stay out past 6PM if they can avoid it, while they investigate a missing person's case. The identity of the person will be revealed tomorrow afternoon, so stay tuned for more information on that. This was Gabriel Thomas, stay safe and keep your loved ones close."

"Missing person, huh? Maybe they aren't missing, maybe they are just lazy like Sean." I rolled my eyes and huffed, while pulling up to the campus parking lot. I sighed and gathered my things before exiting my car and locking it.
I walked along the sidewalk and towards my building, when I saw my best friend Connor. His face seemed like he was disturbed by something. "Hey, you doing okay there?" I asked, immediately he got startled. I placed my hand on his arm and he pulled away while looking around like a mad man. Before I could ask what was wrong, he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the library. We went towards the back, to a corner away from prying eyes.

"Connor...what the hell is going on with you?" I asked worried while I crossed my arms. He looked around briefly before he grasped my shoulders and leaned in close. "I found Sean. I know why he wasn't showing up to work on the project with you." he said while he seemed shaken up.
"Well did you tell that fucking bum that he needs to show up today? At this point I am thinking of removing him from the project all together." I said while rolling my eyes. Connor tightened his grip on my shoulders briefly before he spoke yet again.
"Sean is dead..." His voice shaky as those words left his lips. My eyes widened while I stared at Connor in disbelief.

"H-how do you even know that to be real? What if this is one of Chloe's disgusting rumors?" I asked while my gaze went to the floor. He slowly let go of my shoulders and he sighed softly.
"I went to his dorm because his roommate was complaining about a smell coming from Sean's room...His roommate thought he had left something there, turns out it was just...him. Laying there in a pool of blood." Connor said as he rubbed the side of his arm.
"So...he killed himself? He seemed so happy though, I didn't see anything off in him." I spoke softly while rubbing the back of my neck.

"That's the thing Y/N...He had gashes, like something stabbed into him. His face was just..." Connor gagged momentarily as he covered his mouth. I couldn't even imagine what he could have seen. "The police are in his dorm right now, conducting an investigation on the matter...I just wanted you to know." He said as he sighed softly.
I understand why he had to tell me, but that's definitely not what I thought I would hear about Sean. Who could have done that to him and why? He didn't seem to be a bad guy. 

Before I could say anything else, the bell rang interrupting our conversation. Connor jumped at the sudden sound but he was able to gather his composure. "I'll walk you to class, come on." he said as he wrapped his arm around me and steered me out of the library. I didn't protest as he has always been overprotective over me, but he seemed very on edge about this.
The walk was silent, I didn't mind it as I didn't have anything to say...what could I say about it? I was still dealing with the initial shock of things.

Once at my classroom he gave me a tight hug. "Be careful...If you have to work on the project don't do it by yourself." He stated in a concerned tone of voice, before slowly letting me go. 
"I haven't been alone, I've been with the one you guys call freak..." I stated while crossing my arms.
"I guess that's better than being alone...Just promise me you'll call me if you feel unsafe?" he asked briefly placing his hand on my shoulder.
