Harry Potter the next generation

     'He could be that boy, but I'm not that girl'                                

                                      ...Scorpius...

Scorpius went on the train, a lot had changed since first year, for one Rose, Albus and him were accepted into their Quidditch teams and over the summer he had a girlfriend although his friends don't know about it yet.

"Scorpi!" She said "Oh hey Natalia" Scorpius said and gave her a kiss on the cheek "Do you wanna go with me to tell my friends we're together?" Scorpius asked "Yeah sure" Natalia said.

Scorpius and Natalia walked past the carriages until he found the one with Rose, Ava, Albus and two kids who looked about 11 "Hey Scor!" Albus said "Hi Scor" Ava said "Hi" Rose said "So this is Lilly my little sis, she's starting at Hogwarts this year" Albus said.

"And this is my annoying brother Hugo" Rose said, all of them hadn't noticed Natalia yet "Who's that girl behind Scorpius?" Lilly asked "Girl?" Rose said, Natalia stepped out from behind Scorpius "Oh Granger and Abbot" Natalia sneered "Don't talk to them like that" Albus said.

"Oh hey Potter, Scorpi can we go in some other carriage, I don't like them" Natalia said "I..." Scorpius looked to Ava's confused face, Albus's sad one and Rose's stone cold one "NOW" Natalia said and dragged him out of the compartment.

Natalia pulled Scorpius to another carriage where there were 6 other Slytherins 3 boys 3 girls, Scorpius bit his lip, Natalia was so clingy, he made up his mind to sneak back to the other compartment as soon as possible.

                                      ...Ava...

Ava couldn't believe Scorpius, he was hanging out with Natalia the very girl who along with Violet and Lea bullied her and Rose "Rose? Are you ok?" Ava asked, seeing her friend on the verge of tears "He's dating her" Rose whispered, a single tear rolling down her cheek.

"How do you?" Albus asked "She was clinging on to him, her cheeks were red, she was pulling his arm and his lips looked rough" Rose cut in "You like Scorpius you like Scorpius!" Hugo chanted "Hugo not now" Lilly said pointing at Rose.

"I gotta go to the bathroom" Rose said standing up, and left the compartment a bit too fast than usual "Anyways Ava" Hugo said in a flirty voice, Albus's face immediately turned stone hard "No offence Hugo but I'm not interested" Ava said, glancing towards Albus.

Rose came in with a disgusted face "What's wrong?" Albus asked "A. I heard Hugo and ew, you have a crush on my best friend? And B. I saw Scorpius and Natalia snogging on my way to the bathroom" Rose said shuddering.

Lilly shifted in her seat, she looked quite uncomfortable "So, what house do you two want to be sorted into?" Ava asked "Gryffindor!" Hugo and Lilly chorused and everyone except Rose laughed.

Once they finally arrived at school it was the sorting, they separated from Lilly and Hugo and sat at their house tables, Albus was sitting alone at the Slytherin table though, Rose glanced at him and Ava could tell she was scanning the table for Scorpius.

After a bit of people Hugo was called "Almost too easy, Gryffindor!" The Sorting Hat yelled, Hugo sat next to James who hi-fived him and introduced him to his friends.

After Hugo there were around three other people until Lilly was called "Potter, where would you go? With your brother Albus or your brother James? Better be GRYFFINDOR!!" The Sorting Hat yelled and Lilly sat next to Hugo.

                     ...Albus...

Albus was so annoyed at Scorpius, they were supposed to be best friends, how could he just ditch him like that?

"Al?" Rose asked, she and Ava had sneaked from their table to talk to him "Oh hey Ava, Rose what's up?" Albus asked "Why aren't you and Scorpius sitting together?" Rose asked "He ditched me for his new friends" Albus replied.

Ava looked at Rose and she nodded, "Can you two meet us same tree as always tomorrow first break?" Rose asked "I'll ask Scor in our dorm" Albus said "Thanks" Rose said "Bye Al! Oh and good luck!" Ava said and Rose practically dragged her back to the Gryffindor table.

Dinner felt like it lasted hours but it was finally over, Albus met Scorpius in their dorm, his lips looked puffed and he was out of breath "Hi Al..." Scorpius said "Hi" Albus replied, leaning over his trunk.

"So...How are you?" Scorpius asked "How are you? You left us on the train and you abandoned me at dinner, you know I'm an outcast yet you left your so called best friend for your girlfriend!" Albus yelled, he had snapped.

"How do you..." Scorpius started to ask but Albus cut in "Rose" "Look I'm sorry, I didn't want to but Nat told me too and, she's just so pretty" Scorpius said. "Ok sure, meanwhile Albus's a freak and a loner again" Albus said "Al I didn't mean..." Scorpius said "No, you don't mean anything" Albus said and fell asleep.

                                         ...Rose...

Rose was so annoyed and heartbroken, she and Scorpius were supposed to be friends, she could feel what they had when they were together, did that mean nothing to him?

She walked into her dorm and found only two beds and Holly and Hannah packing "Hol? Han? What are you doing? Rose asked "Miss top of the class what does it look like?" Hannah asked. 

"Hey guys... What are you two doing?" Ava asked "Oh great here's the filthy muggle brought up" Holly said "Don't call her that!" Rose yelled "I'll do what I want thank you very much" Holly replied "Why are you moving dorms?" Rose asked.

"Lea and Violet are our best friends, not you two, goodbye" Hannah said and with that they lest the room, Rose was fuming, then she remembered what they had called Ava.

"Ava? Are you ok?" Rose asked, Ava was the defensive, bubbly type, she wouldn't usually stay quiet unless she was sad or so angry she couldn't control her emotions "No" Ava whispered.

Rose led her to her bed, and gave her a huge hug "Do you want candy? We can have a feast" Rose suggested "Ok" Ava grinned, Rose opened her trunk's secret pocket and pulled out a tun of candy, Ava's grin came back almost immediately.

After about an hour when they had sugar crashes they went to bed, and as soon as Rose fell asleep which wasn't long, she had a nightmare.

She was in an all white room alone, but the more she moved she could see people uncle Harry, aunt Ginny, Hugo, Lilly, James, her parents, but her face fell when she saw Albus and Ava "NO!" she cried out when she saw Scorpius.

"You can not save them Ms. Granger" A booming voice called out "What?" Rose asked "Your friends, family, and even loved one will be controlled, you cannot escape" "NO! PLEASE!" Rose said "AVADA KEDABRA!" Scorpius shouted and she woke up.

"Rose!" Ava said, she was shaking Rose to wake up with a worried look on her face "Are you ok?" Ava asked "Yeah I just had a nightmare, why?" Rose asked "You were muttering things in your sleep and screaming" Ava said.

"That's weird" Rose said "Do you remember it?" Ava asked "I was walking down a corridor and I was in an all white room and the further I went I saw Albus's parents, his siblings, Hugo and then eventually, you Albus and Scorpius" Rose said. 

Ava's face went pale "That is strange, but the strangest thing is that I've been having then all summer and I had it yesterday night as well" Ava said and Rose's eyes widened "That's unlikely" Rose said.

When it was finally breakfast Albus sat with them instead of Scorpius "What's up?" Albus asked seeing their faces, so hesitantly they told him the nightmare and how Ava had them since the holidays.

"Um... I also started having the same thing except they started in second year" Albus said "WHAT!" Rose yelled "Why didn't you tell anyone?" Ava asked "I told Scorpius..." Albus replied.
