Sarah's POV:

I wake up to my alarm going off. "Stoppppp" I groan. It's my first last day, and I'm already dreading it. Dont get me wrong I dont necessarily hate my high school, but I hate the idea of school in general. I check the clock on my phone and it shows 4:00AM. I would NEVER and i really mean never wake up this early for school, unless it's the first day. The sleep mode on my phone turned off and it says "good morning". No, morning because if it was a good morning, I wouldnt be up at 4 in the morning. I sigh as I get out of bed, cracking my fingers, neck, and back. I make my bed, and head into my bathroom to do my routine. Brush teeth, shower, skincare, makeup. Once I get done with everything except for the makeup part, i pick my clothes out for the day. I decide to go for a black crop top that has some random designs on it, and jean shorts. It's pretty basic, so I add my high school basketball team Varsity jacket over it. Ive been the Varsity basketball team manager since my freshman year.

Once i put the outfit on, i pack my backpack. I made sure i had everything, emergency kit, notebooks, pencil case, laptop, iPad, charger, etc. I turn on my speaker, and start playing one of my playlists. I then sit down in front of my vanity to do my makeup. I used to wear a lot of makeup but over the years, i sort of gave up. I now put on concealer, bronzer, blush, highlighter, and powder. Also my lippies but thats never changed. 

I check the time and it's 5:00AM. I'm picking Noah and Sophia up today, so I need to leave the house at 6, since my school district thought it was a good idea to start school at the bright hour of 7 in the morning. The upside is, that we get out at 1:11PM. I don't usually eat breakfast in the morning so I put on deodorant and take my time picking out which perfume to wear.

I picked my signature, Chanel Eau Fraîche.

I made sure my room was clean, and left in good condition, grabbed my AirPods, my backpack, my keys, my phone, and went out the front door. My mom is still asleep since she doesn't have to take my sister to school yet. I drive a matte black Audi RS5. I love my car, it's one of my favorite things. Sometimes I do wish my mom would actually care about me in a physical way instead of just showing me her "love" with buying me things... She's been doing this since dad died 6 years ago. I shake the thought out of my head and as soon as I open the car, Noah walks up and hops in the passenger seat. 

"Good morning Noah," I smile.

"Hey Sarah!" He says clearly excited about our first last day, and not going to lie, he's getting me excited too about it.

We talked about summer, even though we hung out last week, as we made our way to Sophia's house. She lived 10 minutes away, so it wasn't a far drive. I make Noah text Sophia in the group chat that we're almost there. Once we get there, she's already waiting in front of her house. Her mom waved at me and told me to have a good day and I thanked her and we said our goodbyes as Sophia got into the back seat. Sophia and Noah's parents were always like my second parents/ second family, cause mine is very far from even being called a "family".

"I already looked it over, Sarah, and Noah, I'm not even kidding, we have every single class together!!!" Sophia squeals and her smile is so wide.

"No way Soph!!??" I respond in genuine shock, and Noah reciprocates my face expression. 

"So, our first period is... Crime and Justice. Hm, it says her name is Ms. Fox. Oh yeah, she's new. Apparently Mrs. Green left the school district." Sophia says and we all slightly pout because she was a really good and chill teacher.

"Well hopefully Ms. Fox will be somewhat like her. This is Crime and Justice III, so it would suck to have a bad teacher in our last year." Noah says trying to bring up the mood.
