Naira's pov

I entered my room and sat on bed I was feeling so tired sitting there for a long time.
My mehandi was dry from front so i decided to change i changed into something comfy
As today at night it was our sangeet and ring ceremony
So i decided to rest a bit and slept

After some time i heard knocks on my door and saw nisha entering
"Babe get up fast and get ready makeup artists are coming in half and hour"
She said
"Okay" I said and went inside the washroom
And got ready wearing my outfit
The makeup artist came in and did my makeup
As I dont like much makeup so they did very light makeup I was scared they might ruin it but they did a really great job and i was satisfied with my look

After getting ready my mother asked me to wait in my room for veer to come
And then we both have to come together outside
After some time veer came
He was looking so mesmerizing I can't believe I got such a handsome husband
He came towards me and snaked his hands on my waist which sent shivers down my spine and spoke
"Rani sa ajj aap bohot khubsurat lag rahi hai"
("My Queen, today you're looking very beautiful.")

To which I blushed and whispered a thank you
And said
"Waise rana sa aap bhi bohot ache lag rahe hai"
("By the way, My King, you are also looking very handsome.")

To which I saw his ears turning pink — awww my veer is blushing, he is too cute.

After that we were called outside where we went
The rings were exchanged
With a lot of bickering

After which we sat on a place and saw our family members perform where
Mom and dad danced
Papa sa and kaka sa also did a little dance
Bhai bhabhi and nisha and shivam bhai danced together (I'm feeling something fishy between them)
After which the younger clan did the performance and I just love the way they call me bhabhi maa
I have a motherly feeling towards them

After all this ended we ate dinner and again departed to our rooms

Veer's POV

After the mehandi ceremony ended everyone
Went to their respective rooms. I changed my clothes and slept as I was too tired.
After which we got ready for our engagement ceremony

Me and Naira were wearing matching outfits
Which were looking very good

I went towards her room and knocked before entering
The moment I entered I saw her standing there looking so beautiful I cannot even define her beauty
I went towards her and snaked my arms around her waist and
Spoke in a deep husky voice

"Rani sa ajj aap bohot khubsurat lag rahi hai"
("My Queen, today you're looking very beautiful.")

To which she blushed and hid her face in my chest. I just kissed her forehead
And hugged her back. I don't know how but I wasn't able to hide my real self in front of her. I was just like an open book, not being able to control myself.

She just mumbled a thank you and said
"Waise rana sa aap bhi bohot ache lag rahe hai"
("By the way, My King, you are also looking very handsome.")

Which came as a surprise to me but I was glad that she liked however I looked
Then we went downstairs and
Did the ring exchange ceremony for which Naira's bhabhi and best friend got the ring
And we made each other wear it. Although it was an arranged marriage which I guessed would never work out like normal marriages, I have started liking her — her innocence.

After that we sat and all the family members performed and I was shocked to see dad there as he is the most uninterested man in these types of things
After all the dance

My brothers said that they want to see their bhabhi maa and bhai dance and our best friends also joined their wish but we were rejecting it when I looked at papa sa to see him nodding and I understood he wants me to do it so I eventually agreed

The song started playing
We were both lost in each other's eyes and didn't realize when the song ended. We came out of trance when we heard everyone clap.
After this we ate dinner
And went to our rooms to sleep as tomorrow morning is haldi.
