[Y/n] woke up and found himself frozen in place, maybe it was due to the fact a storm had rolled in, cracking and thundering outside the ship or purely the fact the ravenous cyclone had the ship rocking through the sky but all he knew was that Lloyd had ended up holding to his Gi for dear life in his sleep cuddled up close as he stirred in his sleep, clearly not very fond of the storm.

[Y/n] was uncertain how to proceed.

He'd had a lot of training for many different and dangerous scenario however despite this he found himself lost when hit with something he had no experience in.

A kid.

After a couple moments hoping he'd let go [Y/n] eventually tried to just slide free, teying to inch away and out of bed quietly. But Lloyd's grip was unyielding, once Lloyd began to stir and whine [Y/n] froze.

'How am I this useless..' [Y/n] thought to himself, embarrassed by his own ineptitude.

Once Lloyd returned to a peaceful state [Y/n] decided the next best choice was to lightly try and pry himself loose, gently trying to pull the boy's hands loose. With enough pull Lloyd's grip finally broke letting [Y/n] breath a sigh of relief.

[Y/n] quickly got up and headed for the door to let Lloyd sleep a little longer.

"Hm.. [Y-Y/n]?" But just like that [Y/n]'s body froze like a statue as he heard a yawn, [Y/n] slowly turned to meet the the bowl cut blonde rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Hey kid." [Y/n] greeted while ignoring how his effort was all for nothing.

"Are we there yet?" Lloyd asked before looking out the window to find the still raging storm.

"Not yet but hey, that gives you a little time for training huh?" [Y/n] suggested which had the green ninja bouncing out of bed.

"Yeah! I wanna learn Spinjitzu."

"Ok ok, let's not get ahead of ourselves I-" [Y/n] cut himself off, his side flaring up with a burn which was nothing new. But what was new was the strange ringing in his ears, a low hum, almost angelic in tune.

"Uh.. [Y/n]?" Lloyd stared at him as he looked almost hypnotised.

"Uh.. yeah... Why don't you go ahead, I'll train you some other time." [Y/n] spoke in a dreary, dull tone as his feet carried him out the room and down the hall leaving Lloyd a bit lost at what just happened.

Zane walked down the hall towards the bridge passing by the boys shared room however he stopped and did a double take as he noticed a magenta glow in the dark room.

"[Y/n]?" Zane poked his head in finding the male lingering in the room. However he didn't respond, remaining motionless in the room as Zane approached. Zane crept closer trying to perhaps see what had him so hypnotised but it was nothing more than their golden weaponshung up on the wall.

"[Y/n], are you ok?" Zane reached out and touched the male's shoulder and he jolted to life as if a bolt of lightning had surged through his body.

"Huh?" [Y/n] turned to the white ninja, coming to his senses before looking around slightly confused.

"I said, are you ok?" Zane looked with a sad sympathy at the male.

"Uh.. yeah. I'm fine." He finally answered coming back to his senses.

"Are you-"

"I'm gonna head up to the bridge to see how far we've got left to go." [Y/n] dismissed the conversation however Zane noted how the male holding his side as he left leaving him in a mix of worry and concern.
