Nash lets the lady take his phone, when she does he stood up straight, fixing his posture.
Both skye and nash make their way onto the stage, forcing their smiles— but everything was far from okay, nash didn't wanna look crazy in front of a lot people, so he had to make this work.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I'm skye riley," Skye introduced herself before nodding towards nash.
"And I'm nash martin." Nash added with a gentle smile. "And we're here tonight to--"
Great. now the reader wasn't working— what were they supposed to do now? nash was already agitated and hurt that you might've broken up with him.
Skye cleared her throat and looked at the staff near the back, but they must've not seen it wasn't working— what was taking so long?
"So, how's everyone doing, tonight?" skye asks, the crowd claps in applause. "hope you're all enjoying the party."
"Don't worry though, we're sober, so." Nash chuckles, you sat in the crowd— smile fading as soon as you heard that.
"What can I say about how music inspires hope?" Skye adds. "Well, music gave me everything I ever wanted."
"Me too." Nash continues. "but then again, music did almost kill us, so there's that."
