KAMILA WAS A genius. The way her schedule worked, she could get out of school a few periods earlier than the rest of her grade. Sure, it meant taking a few online classes over the summer so she could get all her credits and taking a lot of her junior year courses with seniors, but it also meant she could leave school early and head out for either patrol or the cave.

Honestly, after the reactions she's gotten over the past week from her friends regarding Wally and her somehow knowing Bruce Wayne's ward - 'Richard "Richie" Grayson-Wayne' as Selina would insist on calling him - she was glad to have a break from her friends. She loved them deeply but...

Mr. President: Kam just tell us how you know the ward for the biggest tech enterprise on the East Coast and we'll stop bothering you
Mr. President: because there is no way Iris West-Allen - while interviewing Bruce Wayne in Gotham - would bring her nephew with her. Nonetheless, the fact they stayed friends and that you're close to him too is crazy.

Conversations like that had become normal, ranging from small inconsistencies in their story that only seemed to grow more flawed, to wanting to know exactly how she and Wally fit together so well. Because apparently she was way out of Wally's league.

(Wally took offence over that comment for maybe three seconds before pausing and nodding in agreement. "They're not wrong" Wally would then say after Kamila elbowed him)

Anywho, taking a quick break to the cave was definitely a good idea.

At least, that's what she thought before walking into the common area's kitchen and seeing M'gann stress baking(?) and packing enough school lunches into brown paper bags to feed an army.

Superboy wasn't anywhere near as panicked as the other alien, but the way he glared at his brown leather jacket and his other brown leather jacket (which, by the way, were identical. Kamila would know, she was the one who bought them with him) told a different story.

"Hey guys... what's going on here?" Kamila asked slowly, careful not to startle M'gann as she chopped up some more chocolate chips.

"Oh! Kamila! I didn't think you'd be at the cave this early!" The green girl spun around and smiled, the knife floating into the kitchen sink and the chipped chocolate into a bowl off to the side.

"Don't you have school? Or friends?" Superboy asked, deciding his brown leather jacket in his right hand was the better choice.

"You're lucky I know you're kidding, ass," Kamila rolled her eyes and sent a small shock of electricity his way. "What's got you two so stressed?"
