UNBREAKABLE STRINGS

"Ruhiii diiii aaj hum kya karenge?", Abhira asked, storming into her room, only to meet an enraged Vidya who had been feeding Ruhi.
"Tumhe breakfast par Ruhi ne bulaya aur tum yahan tak aa gayi? Literally, no manners at all. You know Ruhi needs rest, she is not a kid to play around with you, leave!"
"So- sorry ma", said Abhira as she got deeply upset and turned to leave.
"Ru-Ruko na Abhira", called out Ruhi. "Maa, rukne dijiye na usse please, main toh yahan bore hi hoti rahungi, please?"
Vidya gave up over Ruhi's insist as nothing except Ruhi staying happy was essential for the baby. She left without saying anything, while the sisters thought she was actually changing for Abhira.

"Thankyou Ruhi di", said Abhira. Ruhi smiled and made her sit with her.

"B nanu, humesha ki tarah aapki world's best daughter, The Aagyakaari Ruhi ne aapki baat maan hi li. Abb main aur Abhira phirse ek hain!", Ruhi said smiling widely.
"Yes Parnanu, hum phirse ek hain, jaise...jaise mumma aur maasi the", said Abhira in a low voice.

Manish, Swarna and Surekha had tears in their eyes looking at their daughters together.

"Bet- beta tum dono, saath?", said Surekha, unable to believe the girls.
"Ye-yeh sapna toh nahi hai na, meri bachiyon?", said Manish, crying.
"Nahi Manish ji, yeh sapna nahi hai, humari betiyon ne humaari uss galti ko sudhaar diya hai jo humse saalon pehle hui thi", said Swarna, guilt ridden.

"Mujhe toh jeevan bhar ka sukh inn do betiyon ne de diya hai, Swarna. Aaj bhi bhagwan se yehi shikayat hai ki kyun, kyun meri dono bachiyon ko itna kasht sehena pada, lekin dekho na aaj bhi saare dukh bhula kar sirf pyaar ki raah par hain humari bachiyaan. Ruhi, Abhira, I know how much I have wronged you both. It was my wrong decisions which led my heart, my Akshara, and her Abhira to live without their family, all alone. "Parnanu please, humne aapko rulaane ke liye nahi, aapko surprise dene ke liye phone kiya tha", said Abhira.
"Aur kya, but seems like you were less sad when me and Abhira were at loggerheads, kyun Abhira?", said
"Tru-"
"Nahi nahi, main dekho bilkul khush hun hum sab bahut khush hain", Manish immediately wiped his tears off and the three started to smile in happiness.

Ruhi and Abhira chuckled at their antics.

"Okay okay, chalo bye B nanu, abhi mere aur Abhira ka sister time hai, bye!"
"Haaan, dekh rahi ho Swarna, kal tak Abhira ke naam se nafrat thi aur aaj B nanu ko bye bola jaa raha hai, wah beta!", Ruhi lowered her face with a smile.
"Han toh bhaisahab, humari Dr. Aarohi ki beti hai, apne haq ke rishte toh le kar hi rahegi", said Surekha laughing and adoring the bond the two girls shared.
