Minjun's POVSunday 일요일 (ilyoil)— - -
That girl's body was a bit of a hassle to get disposed of. I never really had to deal with the whole pain of concealing my devilish deeds. It honestly made me question myself whether it was worth murdering the foreigner. Wait why did I kill her again? She was going to report me back to my fennec and you would've thought how bizarre my actions were. I told her about fetching your camera even though you never informed me on such a peculiar request. You were too occupied to want to take out your camera so it wouldn't make sense to have it. Knowing that foreigner would go and inquire upon my mysterious behavior to y/n then you would become alerted by my profound hobbies.
You would try to stay at least two kilometers away from me. I can't afford you to go anywhere far away, the concept of you deserting me would set me off, I can tolerate seeing you in the same area every day for the rest of our lives. I wouldn't take you away from everyone else. See, I can be merciful at times, well unless I need to conceal you.
Anyway, that stupid girl took too long to dispose of. I do pray that they don't find her anytime soon, I would love to spend some time with my fennec when she's the most vulnerable. It is the easier to weasel my way into her little heart and mind once again.
Y/n's POV
"She's not picking up her phone."
"Try calling her again later."
"But this is Vi she wouldn't just up and leave us with a mysterious text." I inform the Korean brunette. Her eyes are wandering over to my tightly clutched device in my hands, hoping that the screen would flash brightly with a caller ID named ViVi. Although my prayer seems to go unanswered as the anxiety within me becomes more apparent.
Why isn't she picking up my calls? She wouldn't just get up and disappear. She wouldn't do that to Cho hee especially to me, not after my futile attempt. It terrified Vi and Cho hee immensely, it simply altered the way they treated me from before. It would be a whole 180, the sudden disappearance, the behavior she would've alerted me or Cho hee about her choice? She isn't like me, she would've scare her loved one's.
"Good morning, Y/n."
A sickeningly sweet masculine voice is perceived on the left side of me. The tone is hint with a slight raspy crisp in him as if he's just woke up not too long ago. Pivoting my head over to the appearance of the male. His hair is a tad bit sticking up on the right, the stubborn strands doesn't seem to bother to be put down every attempt of his hands to swat it down.
His fair face merely decorates his signature amusing expression upon him. The closed eyes as he grins softly towards the two of us, the warmth radiating throughout the cordial gesture soothes my nerves for two seconds to prior anxious moments. I shouldn't be in the same area as this boy because of our shared history. Why doesn't he run away from me? Why is he so okay with me? I can't just forget everything—
"You ladies seem distressed. Cho hee, is everything alright?" He inquires, taking a step closer to Cho hee. His eyebrows scrunches downwards upon the expression the both of us are displaying. I feel someone wanting to laugh at this whole predicament because there's no absolute chance she would be this way.
"Our friend Vi—Vivian is gone back to the university, she said she was feeling sick from all of the alcohol she consumed."
His eyes wanders over to the shorter Korean woman. "Hmm? what's the problem then?" He asks, the concern wells up in him although it isn't large as ours. It's still good to be acknowledged by the humanity in Minjun, maybe I didn't just get destroyed the good in him. Perhaps the person he was before in the woods is the midst of the battle between his good and bad sides clashing. This is the outcome of the good winning the battle against the evil, however this is still the same minjun, I abducted there shouldn't be any sort of glee in this predicament.
"We tried to call Vi's phone but she's not answering and she would never let us be this worried about her wellbeing." Cho Hee answers for me. Vi... how could forget so easily about the problem at hand. She is gone and left us with a decrypted message about how she's ill feeling then left in a taxi back to the university.
How in the world would she be able to get a taxi and get alll the way back to the university in her state of sickness? It seems too bizarre and absurd to do such a thing whilst she could crash on the hotel bed and slept there until she felt herself become normal again? It's way too much work to get a taxi to go to Seoul which is hours away from where we ar—
"Perhaps she's still feeling sick from yesterday. I know some people who love to party hard and don't realize the consequences they will face in the morning. I know It takes some time for them to feel like themselves. She'll text before she'll call if it's that serious for you guys." Minjun suggests, rubbing his chin with his slender fingers underneath.
"Yeah... Cho Hee. She's going to text us when she's feeling well and she'll call if she's back to normal." I try to reassure my other best friend, automatically my hand begins to move over to where hers were. Grasping onto her soft smaller one into mines, the little warmth that permeates through our touch suddenly creates a level of tranquility that i didn't expect from the interaction of Cho hee.
All of her thoughts and energy simultaneously slips away out in the open, causing the constant reminder to the concern is abruptly forgotten. Her eyes that were once into mines is pull onto the shared connection between us. The softness in her features begins to consume the tension that was once there.
Her harsh eyebrows lifting up a tad, a genuine grin is etched onto her lips as her fingers around mines slightly tightens, providing a sense of understanding in us. "Yeah...yeah, you're right yum-yum." She muster up.
"I don't mean to disturb, but the group is departing soon." The other person announces, our attention ripping to the male in the group.
"How long have you been friends with Vi?"
"Ever since I came to Korea. I guess she noticed that I looked different from all of the other foreigners. I was very timid and spoke very little Korean. Yet she knew that I was American and kept talking about our homeland... It was a nice welcoming since Vi was already friends with Cho Hee. It was natural to befriend her."
